I love Fitbit and what the app does for me. But you have 0 options for color scheme or layout. No colorblind option for stats either. It’s hard for me to read the charts when all the colors are the same. Love Fitbit though.
  • Disappointing Updates

Loved the old version. The new one since taken over by others isn’t near as nice. The app display is basic and un inspiring. Our group challenges were taken away. Temperature in Fitbit device is stuck on Celsius when my unit setting in the app are clearly Fahrenheit. No one ever contacts you to help resolve any issues. I’m paying for premium service and it’s actually sub par. Latest update took away better graphics in the sleep tracker. They keep taking away instead of giving 👎

  • New Sleep Tracker

the update to the sleep tracker is horrible. the graph is very challenging to read. Did FitBit pay attention in school when graphs and graphic organizers were taught?? I've had THREE FitBit Watches in four years. I recently switched to Mac OS, and shortly thereafter switched to iPhone.... FitBit, there is one more piece to the puzzle missing 🍎Please go back to the original layout of the sleep tracker.
  • Exercise in frustration

Used to love FitBit, but all the updates and changes since the Google acquisition have made it frustrating to use and consistently less intuitive to navigate. My biggest current complaints are that the new sleep graph is absolutely terrible and that logging exercise is an exercise in frustration. You used to be able to edit exercise and reclassify it as “walk”, “run”, or whatever you wanted. Now, clicking the edit button only leads to options to edit the time. Even if I select “run” before I begin my exercise, the app always classifies it as a “walk”. I cannot edit it, I cannot change it. All my actual runs are in as walks. Starting to put aside money to buy a Garmin watch instead - I’ve heard they’re much more reliable and will actually give me the data and abilities I want.
  • New UI is missing old features and hard to read

The update has changed to a hard to read white appearance with low contrast between categories. The old UI was easy to read a quick glance. The color coding also doesn’t make sense anymore, and uses subdued colors that are unintuitive. The old UI used intuitive colors like green for good and bright red for not good. Now I’m seeing weird subdued purple and other hues that don’t make sense and are hard to distinguish. ****A feature specific complaint: the calorie tracker for food used to show a calorie above or below estimate foe the entire day on the home page, and showed an above or below estimate for the current point in time during the day. Both of these numbers were very useful. The estimate for above and below / calories left for the day is not only mo longer on the main page, it’s missing entirely. Please bring this back!**** Hopefully we’ll see some improvements to the UI readability soon.

Long time FitBit user, not happy with the recent changrs in software. My Sense 2 works well enough but the software is letting me down, very disappointed with the new format. Will need to see what else is out there. Not a good move Google.
  • Inaccurate

I use this exclusively to track my sleep. Sometimes, when I remove the Fitbit in the morning and put it in my nightstand, it continues logging sleep. Today, I got an extra hour and a half of deep sleep after I got up! It also often continues to log sleep in the morning if I don’t get out of bed right away. This makes me question the accuracy of all of my sleep data.
