  • They will steal from you

I can ignore the choppy signal, turning off at times completely, but three months in a row they have been taking more money from me. I set a limit and yet still they found a way to charge me. That data was probably randomly taken by google apps anyway, draining as much as they can. I would rather suffer with Verizon, it’s much less suffering anyway
  • It’s cheap bc it doesn’t work

Unclear instructions, misleading info about which phones are compatible, and tech support that just directs you to the internet for help. Can’t access voicemail to change the outgoing message, the app doesn’t recognize my account, photos either don’t get delivered to androids (with no notification of the error) or show up half the size, and text/call alerts only sound half the time. Used to work so well, but it looks like they’ve reached that stage of success where they just get worse and worse until they’re inevitably replaced. In the process of getting rid of all of my Google accounts. If they don’t even work, why am I letting them have my data?

Constantly disconnecting, lackluster support, only way to get service back to is delete the e-sim and reinstall it, just for more constant disconnects and no service.
  • Needs better spam filter and a way to block people

There needs to be a “block” button under every voicemail. And possibly a way to report callers for spam. It’s 2024, every other carrier has their own spam filter functionality.
  • Cannot use nor upgrade

Downloaded specifically for a trip to Canada. Not working so tried upgrading service via app. After selecting “upgrade” the app goes blank and now I’m stuck with no service. When you try to do this online, it redirects you to the app. I can’t believe GoogleFi is operating like this, definitely looking at other options moving forward.

Couldn’t activate from outside of the U.S. I downloaded this for the international data. What is the point of this useless app?

Total bait and switch, charged way more than advertised. Stay with a reputable provider like Verizon or At&T.
