I have fi as I spend half my time all over the world with work, I used the app to setup fi on my iPhone and then deleted it, I just don’t trust google with my data with their history, nor do I trust having their programs installed on my devices. I’d recommending running a good (non google lol) VPN while using their services and make calls via FaceTime

Get you to sign up with promotion unlimited talk text and data. Then proceeds to prompt you for additional charges per gigabyte after 35 GB of data when original promotion was unlimited.

Only Carrier that prevents SIM swapping
  • No signal for IPhone 11R

Switch from ATT to Google Fi for better global package. Caution Google 5G services is unavailable for IPhone 11R. Wish tech support informed me after checking 11R compatibility several times. Very weak signal and slow mobile connection when dialing a call. Signal only 1 bar at home near window. Zero signal at rooms 30’ away from window. Zero signal from parking garage. Tested at hotel conference center, zero signal once in lobby. ☹️
  • Long time customer lost

I’ve been a customer since almost the beginning, but they have lost me with their bull$hit policies. I went to verify that I’m overseas w/military and they want me to sign up with some garbage 3rd party that requires arbitration, F-that. Especially since with Mint I get the same service, for less, and no stupid hoops to jump through when overseas. Caio!
  • Great for Service Activation, But Help Chat Needs Improvement

Google Fi is a fantastic service with generally great coverage. Activating services like international roaming or adding a new line is a breeze through the app. However, the in-app help chat is where the app falls short. Too often, when I try to access the help menu or initiate a chat, the app freezes or crashes completely. This is incredibly frustrating when I need assistance and can't rely on the app to provide it.
  • Works until it doesn’t

Great service, until it doesn’t work and navigating the customer service is terrible. I’m put into a chat and then can’t join the chat. Then can’t start a new chat because it thinks I’m in an existing app. What bad app experience

Does everything you need it to do. My one request is to allow the deletion of multiple voicemails at once within the app
  • Buggy and unoptimized

My debit card expired and in the process of trying to add a new one, the app hangs and crashes, no matter what method of entry I’m trying. App is unstable and poorly built.
  • Awful customer service

I have switched carriers. The reason: I have had no service for 2 weeks due to my SIM card needing to be replaced. When i received my new SIM card, it was not working and was treating me like a new user, I could not activate it because I did not have a pin and account number of my other provider— google was my provider. Seeking customer support, I was told there was an outage in my area when I knew that wasn’t my issue, and later was determined it wasn't the issue when someone actually looked at my profile. I had to wait 3 days for someone to even listen to me and to help me troubleshoot. I had to repeat information because I was passed around to different people trying to help, and was told they needed a specialist to help me with a list of instructions. You’ve made it easier for me to get service somewhere else, less steps, no “specialist” needed
