Would be nice since I already pay for YouTube premium to get a little discount and also be able to watch shows without adds for 75 dollars plus tax a month this could be a little cheaper!!!!!

First, and this is something I’ve reported to YouTube TV many, many, many times, it will absolutely INUNDATE you with sports, whether you like it or not, and there is no way to make it stop. Every single televised game of every single sport will show up in the “Top picks for you” even if, like me, you never watch sports. I mainly use the AppleTV version of the app and it will randomly tell me that I’m in some other city. I haven’t moved my AppleTV since I bought it. To fix it, I have to open the app on my phone, which always says my location is unknown, even when it’s using location services. Tapping the Update button brings up a message saying it was successful, but didn’t actually update anything. It wasn’t until I rapidly tapped that button about 2 dozen times that the AppleTV app updated (though I still had to force quit and relaunch to get my local channels), and the iPhone app still says location unknown. I still prefer YouTube TV over cable, but the quality of their apps is horrendous. I’ve sent feedback and bug reports dozens of times via the app, but nothing gets fixed. And the level of incompetence of their customer support people is astounding. They are basically illiterate.
  • Anyone else have to provide Drivers License, utility bills, etc to sign up?

Update: Several weeks and still not allowed to pay. Apparently, service can discriminate about who can and can’t pay to use. YouTube TV kicked me off the service with no explanation. Product actually good. But YouTube TV ended my service abruptly and would no longer allow me to pay for the service. My payments are taken everywhere but here. Who does that? I thought it could be resolved with a phone call but Google / YouTube doesn’t do that. If I submit my drivers license, some proof of utility bills and more, then they will talk to me??? Not necessarily resolve the situation. Just start a discussion. Do they do that with all customers? What streaming services require extensive private info just to talk with them. I can’t find some other number on my Google account, so I cant even submit my info. Again, no ability to speak directly with someone to ask for help. Seems like a 3-5 minute call would resolve the situation. Glad they are doing so well that they can run off existing customers. I’m a business owner as well and previously used their product at home and at the business. I make sure to tell every one I know of my experience.

New subscriber and will discontinue. Realized there are FORCED ADS on the content you DVR yourself. No point to DVR episode if you get timed commercials (separate from aired tv commercials you can fast forward) that you cannot skip. I’m talking five to seven 30 second commercials in a row. Insult is after you record the show and are finally ready to watch one, you have to watch a timed advertisement. Then every so often there are longer advertisements. (Literally a downgrade from Dish because at least with those recordings, you could fast forward during commercials). Not to mention, sometimes it forces you to watch an ad before an episode starts, then plays another 2:00 minute one after the show intro. Also, if you lost your spot due to stepping out of the room for a while whilst it is playing, you may have to watch an ad to go back to the spot you were at. And to top it all off, I'd you pause a show for a few minutes and come back to resume watching, you guessed it, another ad.
  • Streaming quality is pooooor!!

The 4k quality is poor and NO is not the ISP. For sport and movies the user experience is not worth the asking price.
  • Good but Not always user friendly

It doesn’t have enough options to allow you to restart a video from the beginning. There should aways be an option to restart a video. For example, if a show is being recorded when you turn it on, YouTube TV assumes you’re watching it on purpose. That is not always the case, sometimes the show is in progress when you turn on your TV. At those times you want to restart from the beginning, but there is no option to do that. It only offers you to continue viewing from your “last watch” or watch the show “live”. Neither one of those options are helpful. Please consider this used case, and update the features. Thanks
