  • Hate the update that took away the colors!

Google/Fitbit took the fun out of the app when they eliminated the colorful, happy interface for a score of 80+ on the sleep portion of the app. Other parts of the sleep portion are hard to read only in black and white. Please bring back the colors or at least make it an option. Fitbit is just plain boring now 😞

I absolutely am not in favor of the resent update. As a member, I will finish out the month and discontinue my subscription.
  • Still buggy after all these years

    1. Newest version still has the insane bug where you have to “log in” in order to synchronize your phone with the device. This never made any sense, although it might explain why such a simple program and its updates are so huge. Presumably just there to annoy users and to gather personal medical information to sell. 2. That’s all the newest version does. After logging in, it just sits there displaying a static FitBit logo, apparently forever. This is on an iPhone 13 with the newest version of IOS. 3. The program very often forgets that you are logged in and requires the full username and password again, just to synchronize with the device. The oldest versions never had that problem.

Fix the sleep time readings, you are off by 1 to3 seconds daily. It was working till you screwed it up a week ago or so.
  • New Sleep Report Is Poor.

I bought my Fitbit for one reason only: to track my sleep. The company has changed its reporting for sleep. To get a better report I’m forced to sign up for premium. I won’t sign up for premium — I already spent plenty on the watch itself. I am investigating alternative trackers and will buy one in due time.

I just updated because my Fitbit was not syncing. I strongly dislike the new interface. It is like a kindergarten app now. Is there any way to get the old interface back?????????
  • Keeps getting worse

I’ve used a Fitbit since the old clip on contraptions. I’ve always loved the data I get from the app. This is no longer true. The sleep interface is horrible. I loved the rich data I used to get from it. Now it’s ugly and not as informative. I have an Apple Watch and will now use that as my only source of info. It’s been more accurate on my step count and also on my sleep. Guess I’ll waste a bit of my Fitbit Premium membership until it expires and I won’t renew it from here. Fitbit, you’ve lost a customer who has been with you for over a decade due to the horrible changes in the app. Bye bye bye!
  • It’s a downgrade re: look and feel.

Fitbit app used to be colorful and attractive, now with version 4 I see only green color everywhere. Definitely a downgrade, imo, in terms of look and feel. The attractive app used to be 1 of 2 reasons why I stuck with Fitbit over the last several years, resisting the urge to switch to iWatch. I’ve been a Fitbit owner for 7 years now. The other reason I stayed with Fitbit was the added battery life.
  • Sleep graph

I don’t use this app for much besides the sleep graph and monitoring my steps. The new sleep graph is absolutely terrible. I will start looking at other options for a fitness tracker.
