  • Great app and service

I love the layout of this app. If you are used to a layout like Netflix then you will be right at home.aIt mighttake some time getting used to if you are used to the Cable TV’s boring TV guide layout. But this is much better. I love that I can search and YouTube TV will show similar content from YouTube as well. There are a lot of Tv/Podcasts that are very well produced all in one app. The down side was that away from home I could not watch the New Year’s Day parade in the US. disappointing. Other than that I love the service.
  • Ditch the cable, this is great!

Works on the smart TV, works on roku , works with chrome cast, even with HDMI from phone. Besides the app on our devices I keep an iPhone 6, airplane mode with WiFi to use as a remote. Many other apps like Infinity TV to go, do not let you cast or use HDMI cable and some shows can’t be viewed unless you are on your home WiFi!. UTube TV does allow both! Great sports support. News Networks, live TV and more.
  • Good but can lag at times

Good overall but maybe 2-5% of the time some channels can lag / buffer when other channels are fine. All in all, worth it based on the price compared to cable. Also the on demand section is phenomenal ; there is always something to watch even if nothing is on live tv at the time.
  • Siri screws up Chromecast

Android version is flawless, but when multitasking on iPad, Siri interferes with Chromecast and causes error. She’s just too nosy, wanting to change my settings.
  • Using with Apple TV.

Only works if I airplay to my Apple TV 4K box. Will be canceling my subscription and purchasing cable if a fix doesn't come out soon.
  • Why does this have a different interface than it does on Apple TV?

The Apple TV interface is much better. Not at all clear why the phone version has to be inferior.
  • Good, but.....

I like it but....there are to many sport channels, no a&e, discovery, science and cooking channel. The price is right compared to others but as of late technical bugs seem to be a problem, servers? Unlimited recordings are nice also.
  • Cable Free!

Truly love YouTube TV. They have plenty of channels and recording shows is so easy. Can’t say enough good things here! So happy I made the move last year. Price is right!
  • Poor performance unfortunately

This is not worth having if you own Roku 3 or if you use a Microsoft browser. Does not work with either of these. I contacted them about this. I am canceling my service but would return if they correct the issues mentioned above. No problems with the iPhone app.
  • Decent for live TV, but...

Playing back "recordings" via Chromecast is maddening. The first video always plays back fine, but getting a different video to play afterwards never works. Ever. I always wind up having to force kill the app and start all over. That's annoying enough for a free app, but at $40/month it's completely unacceptable. This is why piracy still exists. Is it really too much to ask in 2019 that paying for content be easier than stealing it?
