  • Can’t use…. My Echo Show 8.

    By Amazin'Spiderfan
I don’t get a response and with the camera on, it says it’s off. There’s a red line/bar across the bottom, and a circle with a line through it in the right corner. The power button is also glowing red. I’ve restarted(powered it down, waited a few minutes and powered it back up), Unplugged it, allowing it to restart that way, turned camera on and off, AND…. checked for updates, just in case that was the issue(but, it said it was current)…. What good is an Echo Show, if you can’t say - “Hey Alexa……. “, and have it hear your information request???!!!???

  • Getting worse

Latest update has completely ruined the one feature I still used. Alexa has gone from being a new fun useful home accessory to becoming a eavesdropping, argumentative, featureless, bandwidth hog. Now I can’t even hear the music I want because Alexa has decided that she wants to hear something else regardless of what I choose she is playing her selection or nothing. I have had it with your worthless hardware and invasive software and the app is right there to add insult to injury. Thank you for making nothing from something.

  • The app is frustrating to use.

    By mattnorton2u
I’m guessing the people that developed this app don’t actually use it. The app is frustrating to use. It’s really hard to find devices. Editing and adding groups is frustrating. You can’t just add one device to a group. You have to go back and add all the devices back to that group or they automatically get deleted. Trying to find the right setting is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. There needs to be a search option that allows you to find things in the app easier. I hope they can create a new version of the app that’s actually user friendly.
  • Not connecting with Echo Show 5 device

    By kalaimani81
Not connecting with Echo Show 5 device for camera, photo and door bell from Ring. Beats the purpose of buying Echo Show and Ring doorbell as a package.
