  • Limited options – not useful

AVOID this app if you are seeking user-controlled options for repairing Contacts. This autonomously driven app offers too few solutions to deal with any realistic cleanup of Contacts. To its credit, it does make a backup of your data first – but there is no clear way to see or understand the implications of changes before you commit. Despite a clever, cute interface – Contact Organizer is best avoided.

Fast and easy to use and does just what it says— fixes duplicates and finds the little problems in my contacts app.

Worse purchase ever, does not sync with the address book. Does not apply any rules, avoid it.
  • App seems to remove dups, but when back in contacts, they’re still there

Removing duplicates seems to work alright from within this app, it in fact shows the numbers and reduces by a substantial percentage my huge contacts DB, trouble is when going back to the Contacts app, my huge unorganized list of contacts seems to be intact. Perhaps some kind of option or indication that (perhaps) a different contacts DB file has been created with the reduces number of contacts, or some instruction on how to have the contacts app point to the reduced contacts DB….
