    Ive used a competitors product for dimming my screen when surfing the web at night or when working in the dark in general. When I purchased my new M1 Mac Mini, I was surprised that the app I was using was a glitchy mess. After waiting for an update and sending an Email to tech support that was never answered, I came here and purchased "Work At Night" I like this app t works well and is a simple interface. Slide right, slide left. Thats as complicated as it gets. I also like how dim the maximum setting is. I like it. My only suggestion is that my old app had the ability to tint the screen red. I liked that and did use it. Im hoping the developer adds a red tint mode in future. 4 stars for simplicity

    This app would have gotten 5 starts but constantly prompts you to write and submit a review every time you launch it. There is no way to decline to submit one.

    Just downloaded this and I've used it for all of 2 minutes. But I already like it enough to write a review. At the price of less than a cup of coffee this is a real bargain. I am using it with my Mac Book Pro 17 and an external monitor. If you have two external monitors than what people are saying about not being able to control the brightness for two screens would probably be correct. However, I can still use the brightness keys on my keyboard so I dial in my external screen first with this app and then adjust my laptop screen accordingly. Glad I decided to try it. Best dollar I spent this week!

    I really wanted to keep my eyes, and this app helped me a lot. Great App. Only one thing I have to tell you is that when I use "Preview" or "Safari" as a maxium screen, the function of this app does not work at all.

    It works as it says it does, and I like the fact that the mouse isn't effected. You can choose to have the menu bar remain at full brightness, which is a nice touch. The thing that seriously limits the useablility of this app is that it doesn't work with full-screen apps. If I have a webpage open in a full-screened Safari window, it's still blazing white. I'm certainly still going to use the program, but I won't be able to do so while using full-screen apps.

    For those who don't understand the reason for this product: why buy it if you don't have a need for it? This is perfect for me working in a dark area with a 30" cinema screen. Dimmed all the way down, it is WAY TO BRIGHT, since default browser colors are far too bright even with it dimmed to the lowest settings. I've tried some browser extentions to fix the problem but it only addresses part of the problem and screen transitions flicker from full bright to dimmed so it was not a good solution. As someone who is prone to migrains, this helps make browsing at night easier on the eyes. *edit - I accidentally a letter.

    I overlooked a comment on a similar issue - the application doesn't allow for adjusting different levels of brightness on multiple screens. It's all or none.
