  • Worst app I’ve ever purchased

This is the worst App I have ever purchased! It does not randomize the display order of the photos like it says, it only randomizes the transitions, most of which are horrible. In fact, this App is so amateurish, the word “random” isn’t even spelled correctly next to the check box to randomize the transitions. Also, the shortest display time you can choose for each photo is 5 seconds, and full screen mode doesn’t actually go full screen. The finder bar is still visible at the top when it it’s in “full screen” mode. It is totally unusable for me, a waste of money and I want my $2.99 back!
  • Not full size

You can sellect the size you want the frame to be, but the pictures do not fill the whole area you have selected. So the pictures are sometimes too small to enjoy.

This program is really nice to have to remember loved ones or other pictures. With that said, there are two main issues I have with it. 1. A lot of times instead of a picture, there is just a black screen that stays there for a while, and there is no way to fix it that I have found 2. You can't integrate with iPhoto, which means that if you want to use pictures from anything other than Photobooth, it takes a very long time to be able to get it to work But I do appreciate it other than that. Plus, its really the only program on the app store that does what it does.
  • Disappointed!

There are some interesting transitions but they do not work in full screen mode. They should mention this in their description.

I've been looking for an app like this. I like the idea of putting photos on my desktop like stickies. BEWARE, the system is only set up to allow landscape photos. I have a number of vertical photos (from my iphone) that I wish could be displayed better. Vertical photos great big black areas in the app.
  • Useable -- not great.

I was looking for a good Mac replacement to the Windows Google Desktop gadget that would show pictures from the user's photo library. The app is usable but doesn't have some desired features: - Photos must be selected. It would be great if there was an option to just use all of your photos (from iPhoto). - The photos seem to be displayed in selection order. A randomizing feature would be good. - An optional border feature would be good. - Additionally, it would be nice to have a rules-based selection feature (e.g. range of dates, places, faces event name - contains/starts with) and selectable profiles (e.g. wedding photos, vacation photos, 2011 photos, Spain photos, family photos).
  • works well but wish it had borders

Wish I knew how it worked before buying. This is yet another app that wants to duplicate the files it uses in order to run. It seems most apple apps run that way -- doesn't apple know about networks and network storage??? For a slideshow app, I expected to be able to point it at the root of a photo directory folder and have the app use subfolders, but it does not. It imports each individual folders contents, and it failed completely when I attempted to select multiple folders, each containing a decent (100+) number of photos. There isn't even a menu-bar for the app. It seems poortly integrated and unstable.
  • Great slideshow app!

I needed a slideshow widget for my business. Tried iPicture and it was super easy to use and set up. Super quick to set up and easy to use. Big thumbs up!
