  • This app does not work, dont waaster your money

    I downloaded, then selected my OLM file and the app gave me a rotating busy icon and that’s it! I waited 20 minutes then I had to forece kill the app. Waste of money. Useless app.

    I wanted the ability to view and manipulate my contacts exported from Outlook 2016 as an .olm file. This app was able to open the .olm file, but it only displayed the first and last name of each contact - no phone, email, or other information. It is possible that I did not know how to add these fields, but if there is a way to display it, it is not an intutive operation. Parsing an .olm file to display contacts seems like a very easy operation - I do not understand why it would be so complicated to easily do this as the advertsing for this app would seem to imply.

    The export to Excel works well even with accent éèçàêïù etc But some main functions missing, it is more a Beta version than a finished version 3 important requests : please Add the Edit Menu (undo, redo, copy, paste; cut, delete, select all etc) please Add control clic then check the boxes, after we selected some contacts with Shift Please Add search AND/OR Filter field (it is horrible to find and select some contacts to export if you have more than 3000 contacts - 5000 in my case) $2.99 the price is good, I can’t believe that you can sell this for the original price $38.99 Thanks

  • A bit limited in capability

    This app seems that it never quite got “finished”. It has some very nice capabilities, but needs many more, I really wanted to export ALL my Contacts to ‘some format’ whereby it could print it out with only selected information (I have Not found any other app to do this). In particular, it shows ONLY my Groups and gmail… I want ALL Contacts! This seems reasonable if I wanted to print a small “Booklet” with only name. email, and phone. I do not believe that this will do that without a lot of work on my actual Contacts ‘program’ so THIS app can gather all appropriate information. I might be able to find a bit of use for it - but it is only a ‘baby step’ in dealing with Mac Contacts. Would have preferred if it were a “Try-and-Buy” even with a higher price. The version I bought, version 2.10 seems to have been ‘abandoned’ by its builder. I guess that I will spend an hour or so “Playing with it” - if I can’t get worthwhile result… it will go the way of the Dinosaur. I will consider that my Contacts file was first created many OS X versions ago, and perhaps ‘changes’ from Apple on Contacts over the years COULD be a contributor to the results I am getting.

    I downloaded this app yesterday and I used it right away. As for me, this app is very useful. It helped me export and backup local email contacts from my address book and it finished quickly. So I recommend this app, believe me, it is really very useful.

    The program does not allow you to re-import the contact info…..any time you click on a category in contacts, it just adds it to the list where you have to manually delete each line. This needs serious work and mork though should have went into it.

    I purchased this item for a specific, immediate need. When I installed (and tried reinstalling), the column headers didn't show which made it impossible to add the additional items, i.e. address I wanted exported. I even took a screen shot and attached it to the first and third contacts with support. The first two times they responded, it was as if they had not looked at the screen shot or read the complaint. Then when they finally got it, they just said they couldn't help. Then I asked for a refund….never heard anything back…..like I said, don't bother.

    I was attracted by the surface of this app when I saw it at first glance. I love red and simple surface which made me comfortable. Surely, its function is also very powerful. This app helped me export and backup local email contacts from Address Book, PST and OLM files to other formats. More important, it is cheap but useful.

    This app ran quickly and the whole operation process was very smooth. I am very satisfied with it because I can use this app to export and backup my email contacts from address book. The function of this app is very comprehensive so that there are some functions I have no use. But it doesn't matter; maybe I will use them someday.
