Description

In the shadow of the Wall, your watch begins. Eight thousand years before Jon Snow took the Black, the Night’s Watch was formed to secure the Wall and defend the border of Westeros against the perils of the North, and all that lies beyond. Into these untamed wilds, sworn brothers and their allies set out on rangings to face the dangers that would threaten the realm. But the Wall is a blade that cuts both ways. Guide the decisions of Lord Commanders through the seasons and mount expeditions beyond the Wall. As ravens travel to and from your expeditions in real time, their messages are delivered to you throughout your day. Respond with your command right away, or whenever you see fit. Long is the history of the Night’s Watch, and many are its stories forgotten. It’s time the realm remembers them. ***FEATURES*** - A narrative idle game based in the Game of Thrones universe where time passes in the game world, even in your absence. - Send expeditions from Castle Black beyond the Wall and into the far North. - Expeditions will continue to explore even when the game is closed. - Turn notifications on to learn when something happens, or come back whenever you want. The game will wait for you. - Encounter unknown dangers, face enemies old and new, and make new allies. - Make decisions that will form Legends and shape the history of the Night's Watch!

  • Love this game—potential for more

Game is a great addition in ASOIAF universe. Hope there are more updates to the game and more customization—edit names of characters would be great as there are not lore friendly names
  • Needs updating

As the title says, this needs updating for larger phones. The text is WAY too small on an iPhone 15 Pro Max and the Dynamic Island is where the game’s notifications go.
  • Relaxing Game, Beautiful Unique Graphics

I've only been playing this for a week, but I love it so much. It's perfect when you need a break from work, because of the idling feature you have to close it periodically anyways. It's also nice music to have on in the background if you leave it open. I which I could interact more with the maps, zoom in more, rotate around. In the wide view, it kind of jumps around a bit and it seems kinda buggy. I'd also think it'd be cool to be able to watch and zoom in more on the NPC's on their expeditions, even if it is just them slowly walking somewhere lol. It's just a relaxing game and I think they could lean into that. I'm not far in so I'm not sure how deep the decision making goes, but it's my favorite thing to play right now :)
  • Absolutely stunning scenery

The scenery in this game is one of the best I’ve seen in a while (for a mobile game). The game’s journey through time, and the stories to where you could choose your own path is amazing. I would recommend this game to anyone looking for an adventure.
  • It doesn’t get any better after the first 5 minutes.

The game goes nowhere really. It could if some effort was put into it. I played for about a month hoping it would develop into something. Unfortunately it doesn’t. Play it for 1 day and you will have seen everything.
  • Lots of potential

I pray that this game gets the love it deserves and the developers care about it like their own child because the amount of outcomes and possibilities that could be implemented in the future are amazing. If there was anyway to encourage the developers to keep working hard on this game I’d take it in a heartbeat. My only personal request/recommendation is to add some difficulty so that commanding the watch truly is a hardship for the rugged commanders, to bring out your true grit and determination. My recommendation is that they add a tracker for supplies, manpower, and moral/loyalty. Of course it shouldn’t be to hard to maintain, in consideration of those that want an easy experience but their could be a difficulty setting to help remedy that. But to actually have to maintain your resources while also focusing on important tasks at hand would be an extraordinary addition to the game and help put you in the lord commander shoes even better.
  • Nothing happens

You get new events every now and then, but I keep getting “clear forest”, “scout north of the wall” stuff and it does nothing for the story. There seems to be no way to progress to another lord commander, just sitting here for a week irl doing the same quests 400 times. Very boring and uninteresting.
  • Repetitive, Disjointed, and Depressing

I agree that there is a lot of potential here. Sadly the game is flawed. Play is not unending in that the story will come to the same end no matter what you choose so it has a feeling of helplessness. No matter what you do - it wont matter. Choices are repetitive and at times make no sense. You don't have autonomy as at times there is only one decison to choose. The action in the area around the wall is awful as the same exact scenarios come up every time, and the maps cannot be navigated properly. Springback and spinning if you to move round. Battle/exploraton and castle scenes can't be zoomed in on either. After a while it's just boring as you wont get anywere or accomplish anything no matter what.
  • Absorbing concept.

I find myself captivated by the situations which unfold. The music and UI is great, but I wish the game had more dialogue options. Oftentimes the choices felt a bit limited, but for a “free” game I admire the effort and creativity the developers put into this thing. I’d recommend this to others.
  • Text is way to small

Is there a way to make the game text readable?
