What a massive time sink. Massive amounts of builds, troops, rituals, training. Spend years and barely scratch the surface

This game is fun, but desperately needs balance. Higher tier units, even just 1 tier up, massively outpace lower tier units. And there no deincentive for LVL 35s to raid lower lvl bases. Instead, for player keeps, the defender should deal damage first. This would make attackers really consider who they are attacking.

Unless going to spend tens of thousands of dollars, there’s really no point in playing this game ( they casually sell $500 packs so you get the idea ) There’s absolutely no strategy at all aside from spending real money to buy power, zero. If this sounds like something you want to do have fun wasting time building a city that’s going to be nothing more than a farm for an infinite amount of time for the top guild.

Probably some of the most inept and tone-deaf developers I’ve ever come across playing video games in my life. They show blatant favoritism towards players who spend a greater deal than those that don’t. This includes blatant and repeated violations of their TERMS OF SERVICE. So many players have walked away from this game due to rewarding bad behavior and the sad few who constantly spend in he game because so much of their personal identity is tied to the game. The game has honestly been dead since 2021. Now it’s just spend to “win” and it becomes essentially a staring contest in cross server events as players are afraid to lose anything. Just don’t play it and don’t even think of putting a dollar towards this game. Download clash of kings or Diablo instead.

Aside from the sporadic living players that I encounter, the vast majority of bases in my “high population” region are dead and buried. Why did this happen? While I know I’m not saying anything revolutionary, the game is one of the worst offenders regarding a prolific “pay-to-win” strategy that I have come across in quite some time. Unless you pay for packs that the devs were obviously high when price marking, you’re stuck being a nothing amongst a bunch of “kids” with no self-control and/or mommy’s credit card. One of the absolute worst mechanics I’ve ever seen in a game like this make it near-impossible to develop as a small/starting “non-pay” player who doesn’t suckle at teats of the rest of the established “pay-to-win” players. If an attack is coming your way from a whale player, you can just teleport away to safety, right? Nope, you teleport and the whale’s march finishes as if you were still in the previous location (this pertains to your base, any tiles being farmed, basically anywhere your troops could be that they can attack, and we won’t go into the ludicrous strategy for the mines and war camps). Was this an oversight or are we truly subject to one of the worst mechanics to be implemented in this sort of game on purpose? I had high hopes for this since there are few, good mobile Warhammer games that let you be anything but the garbage Imperium, and even then, you’re restricted to the default “good guy” legions. All the promise in the world relegated to another cash grab that unfortunately Games Workshop has no input or care to adjust or guide to make interesting. I would give it 1 and a half stars if I could because while it becomes stale quickly and the mechanics are abysmal, at least I can play as chaos legions. Take this post as you will, good or bad, but remember that this could have been something interesting, engaging, but instead is as bloated and festering as anything in Grandfather’s garden.
