This did exactly what it said! Opened up our personal address list from an old computer that we needed to send out our Christmas cards this year. The only format we had was a wdb file. It saved as an xls file, and I then uploaded to Google and opened as a Google Sheets file, no problem! It would have taken a lot of work to re-type that information. Very pleased with this!

Well that was a waste of $8.99! It doesn’t work on any of my WDB files.

In the mid 2000’s I installed Microsoft’s Works software on my Windows personal computer. I had created several Works databases (.wdb) which I used until the previous computer had to be upgraded with Windows and Microsoft Office. Before the old computer was recycled I backed up my personal files. Recently I looked high and low for the CD with the Works database files, When I finally found the files I could not open or read the .wdb files on my Mac Mini computer and Microsoft Office 365 software. During my research to find a solution to my problem I found LawBox and thier app WDB Viewer Pro. The process to open and convert the Works .wdb files was so simple but to my suprise it was just that easy. Acquire rhe WDB Viewer Pro app, cl\ick and drag the file to the convert box then save the resulting data file. Thank you LawBox.
  • Worthless

The program extracted a fraction of the records in my database. And seemingly the records it extracted have no logic to why it took those records out. And the records you do get cannot be sorted or manipulated in any meaningful way. You are much better off exporting your Works database to a comma delimited file and importing them into Excel. Probably the most worthless paid for App I’ve ever seen.

I opened an xls file with this and it didn’t read it at all, it just created a bunch of gibberish. So glad I could be the first one duped by this worthless app.
