Description

Need to view a WordPerfect document on your iPad? There's an app for that. Finally, you can view the contents of WordPerfect email attachments without having to ask a friend to borrow their Windows laptop! WordPerfect Viewer converts WordPerfect documents into a format that can be read on your iPad. The application allows you to share the original document, or the document contents in HTML or plain text. • WordPerfect Viewer is NOT an editor: it converts your WPD documents into a format that can be read on your iPad. • WordPerfect Viewer supports documents from most versions of WordPerfect, including WordPerfect 4-11 (Windows), and WordPerfect 1-3.5 (Mac). • WordPerfect Viewer does NOT preserve complex page formatting, metadata, margins, headers or footers. Please see the screenshots for representative examples of converted content. WordPerfect Viewer is not endorsed, supported, sanctioned, approved, or manufactured by Corel Corporation or Corel Corporation Limited. Technical support is readily available from: [email protected].

This does not work! Please refund my money. I haven’t used it because it is unusable!

This program is an absolute ripoff. Absolutely. It has virtually no correlation to its own user manual, should be removed, in good faith, from the app store. It does almost nothing and certainly none of what it claims

The option to share the file in PDF does not work. Help button does not work. Can only use DropBox. Can't use Google Drive.

This the most worthless app. The "Help" link does nothing. The only supported cloud type drive is Dropbox. I could find an option to link my Google drive or OneDrive. If this were a free app it wouldn't be quite so disappointing. But it isn't free. Don't waste your money on this one.

Just found this for the iPad...already a dedicated iPhone user. If you're a lawyer, the necessity for this app is obvious. I juggle my iPhone and iPad through two charges a piece per day...love this so much.

I was overseas with my iPad and needed some files in my Dropbox created in WordPerfect. I was able to go to my Dropbox account and get it. As the description says, it does not retain much formatting (such as outlining). It got me out of a jam and was definitely worth the price. The only problem I had was that it doesn't list my old WP files that don't have .wpd as the extension. Earlier versions of WP didn't use it. But I was able to go into my Dropbox account and modify the file name by adding the .wpd extension, and then I could open most of them. This was what I've been looking for!
  • Won't view all extensions

I was very dismayed to find that I can only view .wpd extensions. WP allows us to create our own extensions and, in fact, creates .frm, .add, bk!, .wcm and others but won't even view those extensions, let alone ones the user creates. This makes this product almost useless to this dedicated WP user. I am trying to access WP files by Open In through Carbonite where all of my customer files are backed up. I want to be able to view a file to see if it is the correct file to email to a customer but I can only view .wpd files. All others say" No installed apps can open this file." Please let WPD Viewer view any file created by WordPerfect, not just .wpd extensions. Also, a way to create simple WP files would be nice. I despise using Word.
  • Limited viewer....

Limited viewer can only export as HTML. I want to be able to have more formats to process with such as Goodreader. Bottom line is that this is the only app for WordPerfect and it is very limited. Come on Corel, work with us WP users!

Nice to have the WP program available. However, why are we only able to get a viewer. I like using WP and would like to have more of a full program that would allow for printing, conversion to PDF, saving and editing files, etc. Why is this program limited to only being a viewer. It is nice to have it but the lack of functionality makes me needing to use a Word document program. Corel Corp needs to provide for an app that will encourage people to use WPD on a regular basis!

Ok except it won't permit me to open password protected files. I bought it to be able to do that on my iPad.
