  • Very Basic Options - NOT Worth $10

As a couple of previous reviewers mentioned, this app is simply NOT worth $10. I needed a program that would let me underline the font and I don’t see a way to do that. Basically I am unable to use this software and am out $10. Shame on me for assuming that for $10 you could underline your text. I do not recommend this for the price!

I’m using this for law school to map out legal doctrines and cases for class. I’ve only been using it for an afternoon, but here are my initial impressions: Pros: 1. It does the heavy lifting for you. No more drawing boxes and the tedious work of attaching one box to another by drawing connector lines. Just type your information in the grid on the left, associate the boxes you want linked, and voila - the program does the reast for you. 2. Export options. Seldom have I ever created a flow chart that would fit on one sheet of paper and the text still be readable. This program allows you to export the flowchart as an image. Just paste this into Word and you can crop it into two pieces (or three, or four) to stretch each segment into a readable size on its own page. Your flowchart may span multiple pages, but you will be able to read it without an electron microscope. 3. Still discovering them. I’m sure there are lots more. Cons: (with the caveat that I am a novice and may not know the program well-enough yet. If there is a work-around to these, let me know.) 1. It’s $9.99. 2. If you change the text/size of a box, it changes ALL of them. No bueno. 3. Basically every keystroke you type in when working in the grid to the left hangs your system for a moment until it updates the flowchart on the right. The lag is excruciatingly painful. 4. I can’t get the window to resize so that I can work with the program on one side of my screen with a Word document on the other. 5. It deletes certain basic characters (as another reviewer mentioned). Why? 6. Did I mention it’s $9.99. Just kidding. But not really. I’m cheap. :) Overall, I highly recommend this program if you learn visually and think mapping out a concept will help you. The uses for this program are endless. I’ll be looking forward to updates in the future.
  • Wish I didn’t spend money on this

I tried using this to make an org chart but it was horrible to use. Commas would be deleted out of the text boxes for some reason and the interface was very difficult to figure out. I could not find a drag and drop sort of tool for arrangments and only could organize data by writing the text of the boxes in a list and then denoting which box should be below which. I ended up just downloading a free software that was MUCH easier to use.

You can’t adjust the size of the bubbles, you can’t change the size of the text, the bubbles don’t expand, and the interface is far from intuitive. I’m sad to have had to pay $10 for this awful software.

The program does not work. It cost 10 dollars. I really needed to make a flow chart for work and I needed one in a hurry. I wasted a lot of time on this. I wish I had my twn dollars back. I wish I had my time back.

Costs way too much for the limited features it has. Easy to understand and use out of the box… but for $10 I expect a lot more customizing and editing tools. Frankly… I would like to have my money back. It does what it does well, but for $10 it simply doesn’t do enough to justify the price. For example - you should be able to select more than one parent / dependency. You should have the option of working horizontally or vertically. The descriptions would be great if they could optionally be displayed in the boxes as well, and then have a separate description that corresponds to the arrows / actions / flow.
