It works like it's supposed to but needs updated to Apple Silicon. Will revise rating when it is updated.

I purchased a wired keyboard that is perfect in every way except the caps lock LED doesn't work with Big Sur. This annoyance quickly became a big problem for me both in my everyday writing and in creating and entering passwords. This app is the perfect solution. I like it even better than the tiny caps lock LED light on my keyboard. Wish I had been using this app years ago. Thank you for this little gem!

There are few things about using my Mac that bother me more than not knowing when the CAPS lock is on! I've tried several other apps and didn't like any of them. But these guys got it right! They understood that SOUND is a better indicator than screen markings. This app sounds a "bing" when your caps lock key is on, and it's QUICK and does the job better than the rest! Don't hesitate to buy this amazing, yet simple, solution to a big problem.

It makes checking my caps lock so easy. I know it sounds so elementary just checking your caps lock but I go back and forth a lot as a coder and being able to just glance up and the menu bar to see if it is on or not is so incredibly easy now. For me, it’s everything I needed. Nothing to fancy but it does provide three different icons to help you determine whether the caps lock is on or not. Thank you for writing this app and for not making it complicated. It’s just enough.
  • Surpisingly the better of all the apps I’ve tried

I used another app called CapSee for many years, but development on that has ceased. Searching for replacements I came across 3 alternatives (2 paid and 1 free). I was hesitant to buy this because of the screenshots, but went for it. Surprisingly, it works the best of all 3 options. Sits in the menubar, only makes the beeps when the CAPS key is pressed and it’s very responsive, so I don’t have to worry about delays like with the other apps. It’s not perfect in that it could use some enhancements, but it outperforms the other apps hands down. It’s a sharp little app and I’m sticking with it. Well worth the $2. Highly recommend it.
