  • Was a great game

Ruined the way raids work theres no way to earn deadpool or thanos in the last raids. 2 hr window for 100% completions is ridiculous. I’ve put alot of money into this game and thats all that matters to foxnext i guess.

Foxnext actively performs A/B testing on its player base in a COMPETITIVE game. On release, a subset of players got Rocket Raccoon (an extremely rare chase hero) for free while most didn’t. About 45 days into release, they started giving some players 293k gold a day while the rest just get 93k. Then they inundate the 93k people with offers to purchase gold for actual money. The extra 200k comes out to about $50 USD that some people are getting for free EVERY DAY. It’s a complete abuse of the popularity of their IP and their player base. UPDATE: still 1 Star. Income discrepancies have stopped (yay) but they’ve taken multiple anti-player steps in the weeks since. There’s still A/B testing, but it’s now showing up in the enemies you face. Income has been reduced across most facets of the game. Leaderboards were topped by a sponsored YouTuber who is now actively fighting the community, it now requires logging in every 2 hours instead of every 6 to be competitive, and worst of all they’ve implemented a 24 person team based raid with a 2 hr limit. Alliances are international so this has forced multiple break ups, and people are asking for refunds and quitting the game in droves.

I liked this game a lot, but as I continue the more I see that it really is about who has the biggest wallet.
  • Losing patience

Game managers, designers not listening to the community, 2 hour raids impossible to accomplish due to overseas players, blitz becoming a full time job. Pay attention to your community and you will flourish, ignore them and fail.
  • Great Game, Each Update Erodes It

EDIT 7/20: Foxnet clearly does not care about our feedback. After people complained about the Thanos raid requirements, Deadpool was re-released with the exact same reward structure... except now instead of having 24 hours to progress, your Alliance only gets 2 hours. Unless everyone spends money, this makes completing the raid impossible. Thanks for showing more naked greed and a total lack of care for the people who actually pay for your game to exist. Previously I would have been willing to give this game a stellar review. The community is generally helpful and I found it easy to get into an Alliance that helped keep the power curve flowing smoothly. I reached maximum level inside of a couple of months and have a roster of relatively powerful heroes and villains. Progression here definitely felt more rewarding than in similar games like Galaxy of Heroes. This all changed with the most recent update for Ant Man and Wasp. Previously, the devs had run two events to unlock new characters. The first for Thanos, then again for Deadpool. The way these events worked was that there was a short line of quests that allowed you to try out the new character, and each win would award you with some fragments of an orb, which you could redeem to unlock a handful of shards for the character. By the end of the event quest line, you would reasonably expect to have slightly more than half of the needed shards to unlock the character, and the way to earn more fragments was by raiding with your Alliance until the event ran out. For whatever reason, the dev team decided that this was simply too rewarding, and the event to unlock Ant Man is ridiculously greedy. Now, you complete event stages on three different tiers of difficulty with a separate energy pool (which takes a very long time to refill outside of the free energy reward periods) in order to unlock the ability to quick win stages you already completed. The reason for this? You now get a chance to receive fragments from each stage. So you’re fighting RNG in order to earn enough shards to draw your RNG chance at character shards. Why do this? Because you can use premium currency to earn more event energy and more chances to complete the stages before the event ends and it all goes away, possibly forever. Wonderful example of incredible greed, and completely breaks my faith that the devs will ever make changes to do anything more than try to pry open my wallet.
  • Going downhill

Game started good. It keeps getting changed making harder and harder on the casual gamer. All alliance raids were 24 hours now they made the latest event raid 2 hours making it hard to gather alliance players to complete the raid in time. Blitz end rewards have been lowered and tiered rewards for blitz harder to get. Overall the game is becoming less friendly to the players.
  • Pay to win

Raids, Blitz, characters purchases it’s worth it first off Raids nerf the rewards and Deadpool raids only two hours and Blitz the two hour cool down and the cheap rewards and now character purchases a real slap in the face
  • Great game, terrible direction

    By Stabgotham
This game is, on its surface, beautiful and fun. Unfortunately, the developers, FoxNext, have been on a nerfing warpath over the last 3 weeks. Rewards, shards, ability materials, everything has been nerfed. On top of that, they have made changes to several game modes that require you to play every two hours in order to stay competitive. I play for fun, not as a full-time job. The devs have refused to have a two-way conversation with the community and all of the changes seem geared to squeeze as much money they can from the “whales” and completely alienate F2P players. This game has ridiculous potential, but given the developers mindset about how to drive the game forward, it won’t be long before this game is a wasteland. Get your act together, FoxNext!
  • Greedy practices ruining otherwise fantastic game

    By justingrubbs88
*UPDATE* FoxNext has backed and endorsed a cheater as one of their featured streamers. Along with that they have continued to make the in-game rewards worse with every update and have not communicated with the community on anything until the change has occurred, resulting in the players being unable to prepare. Very little dev feedback on the forums or anywhere, changes mid-event to make it look more rewarding while keeping it the same to encourage spending, and horrible deals for cash offers.
  • Ok game, terrible company

The game developer foxnet has just run this game into the ground
