  • No incentives to keep playing

Totally pay to win. This game tells you you need three villains to complete the daily challenges and only gives you two. Loot boxes full of “shards” couldn’t be a more rigged opaque system. Sad because the rpg gameplay is fun, but apparently marvel doesn’t have the funds to help you get started without buying meaningless in game currency. Skip it
  • Been playing a long time and still can’t get nothing fun getting only one shard every day

Game started out decent at best. Now with ever new patch comes more bugs and game crashes. They continue to ignore basic imbalances in their game. They focus more on pumping out characters than anything else.
  • This game doesn’t make any sense.

How can I fight the same team when I’m rated higher and lose? That’s crazy. This game is pay to win. You can get stuff without paying, but if you want to be competitive you need to pay.
  • Unfair matchmaking in my arena

The game is fun but I just found out that my game is bugged. In arena I am being matched up with people who are three times stronger than me. Me and my friend are the same power level and his arena matchups are balanced while mine is unplayable. I tried reaching out to the support team three different times but they refused to help me in anyway about adjusting my arena to where I could be matched up with people in my power level range or just a little bit stronger than me atleast. I wanna keep playing but I feel like I can’t get reap the benefits of arena because I can’t progress. My power level is 40000 and I’m being paired up with players in the 90000 and 100000 how is that fair? Please someone hear me out about this.
  • Completely pay to win and customer support is horrible

Graphics are great and so is the concept but Foxnet is horrible at patches and customer support, basically every patch the game freezes, anything you try to claim or buy is a crap shoot. Last patch I lost 450 cores and several reward orbs: my response from support we are sure you got what you purchased but if you want us to check it will be a few weeks. Save your money, play for free and you will realize the only thing that works like it should everyday is Foxnexts pop up ads that basically show up the first 5 minutes regardless of what you are doing in game. Oh and if you don’t pay forget about half the dailies you need 4 star characters or 5 hand or kree characters for.
  • Loot boxes all the way down

The game has potential area of fun, like the strategy involved during combat, and some of the synergies between characters. However, the entirety of the game hinges on loot boxes. Every campaign node you complete is a loot box, every non-premium currency you earn is used to buy or open loot boxes (which are generally called orbs). It’s basically a game that continuously circles back to gambling via loot boxes. Even the little bit of strategy in the game is short lived as all of the best teams are simple ones (like an all Defenders team, or all Mutant Brotherhood team), and those simplest and most obvious teams cost you either months to grind for, or they’re going to cost you hundreds of dollars. Unfortunately it’s pay to win if you want to get far in this game, or you’ll spend months trying to make progress that others can get instantly by spending $30.

Any review that says this game isn’t pay-to-win is either ignorant or lying.
