I use Calcbot every day on iOS and it's a delight. The Mac version desparately needs some love. The UI is broken, copy/pasting is brutal, the conversion UI is inefficient. Help us Tapbots!

I have been a paid user of calcbot for years and I use it on Mac, iPad, and iPhone. Unfortunately, the Mac version hasn't been updated in five years and has significantly lower performance than the iOS versions. The most annoying difference is that the Mac app takes 2-3 seconds to perform basic operations (eg. 1 1=2), which is totally crazy. If I could start again, I would not pay for ANY of the Calcbot apps. Why? If the Mac app and users are abandoned, then what could happen to the other apps?
  • Looks like they stopped maintaining it

I own this app for iphone and ipad and love it. It's the best calculator app. I needed a calculator for my Macbook, so I purchased it. Unfortunately, the Mac version is buggy. After hitting Enter, it takes seconds for the answer to be returned. It should be instant to get an answer for 1 7, not take 2-3 seconds. Also, it has crashed a few times. This is on Ventura, the latest version of MacOS. It looks like the developers are no longer updating the app for the latest MacOS versions, and don't care.
  • Please keep updating

Calcbot is by far the best calculator app I have used. I use it on iOS also. On MacOS Ventura after you make a calculation and hit 'Enter' the app takes ages to add the calculation to the list and let me move on to my next equation. Very frustrating and so it lost a couple of stars just because it doesn't seem like they care to fix this bug.

Last update was over 3 years ago, there's overlapping issues etc in the calculator.

Stopped using this app now becuase they took away icloud sync. So no longer does the app sync with my iphone & ipad, and that's why I really liked the app from the start....but now already found another calculator app to use that's much better and that has icloud sync that works.
  • Needs "Clear all" button

This is a great calculator app - however - in any other calculator app i've had, I am able to hit the ESC key as the "all clear." I cannot seem to find a key that will perform this function on this app, and it is very inconvenient.
