    This app doesn’t work reliably and is so poorly designed that we’ve spent more time trying to place orders than it would have taken if we just stood in line; 1/2 the time, the orders never go through. Worst food ordering app I have ever used. On top of it all they use email for order status updates vs text. It’s 2020 Rustic it wouldn’t take much to fix this app!

    Ordering was easy. Confirmation email received within seconds. Follow up email with expected time order will be ready. My only (very) minor criticism is the prediction was off by 5 minutes, so maybe 4 1/2 stars. Otherwise everything was seamless.

    My order was perfect and easy to order but when I walked in the staff yelled at me for a couple minutes about how I could not add comments to remove things. Also the dressing on the side resulted in a half sized salad. Literally half the usual size as they put the dressing in the box. Bummer to get a side salad sized serving and screaming at for $15.

  • No confirmation of order?

    Big line outside Rustic Bakery Marin so I ordered with the app. After placing the order, there’s no confirmation email, text, or history in the app to know if it went through. I checked my credit card online and saw the charge by Rustic. Went inside to confirm they had the order OK. But I should have some record. And the app says you’d be messaged when ready, I wasn’t, so glad I was waiting inside and they called my name. Still, got my food faster than if I’d waited in the line 20 people deep.

    The last few times I’ve used it, I get through the whole process of ordering, and when I go to pay, the app craps out and the order doesn’t go through. Such a bummer!

  • Location Bug - Do Not Use this App

    There is a bug with this app, where if you select the location you wish to order from, then select items, your pick up location is then changed on checkout. I've had this happen multiple times along with coworkers who've experienced the same issue. We've called Rustic Bakery to complain and cancel orders that were not distributed correctly, but the bug still hasn't been fixed. If you want to ensure your ordering from the right location, then call the venue. Don't use the app.

  • Missing tons of menu items

    This app looks nice and does a good job of matching your location to the nearest RB. But I don't understand why so many of RB's key menu items are not available: Strada? No. Kouign-amann? Nope. Latte? Sure — unless you want soy. What's the point of encouraging people to order online if they can't get what they came for?
