I’ve been using simple comic for years, but it stopped working reliably after i upgraded to high sierra. so i downloaded comic viewer as a replacement. i tested a few comics, and it displays the same error. it reads, “multiple validation errors occured.” how do i get my money back?

This is definately the best comic reading app for OSX that I have found. I’ve tried at least half a dozen, some were three times the price of this one. Don’t let the dumb looking icon fool you (seriously, what is that?) this app is where it’s at. The app does not have a built in library browser which I think is a good thing. It keeps the app lightweight. Every app that does let you browse or organize your library takes forever to load if you have a decent collection. I just organize my comics in finder and open them here. The facing pages functionality actually works. If that seems obvious to you check out some of the other apps in the store and elsewhere on the internet. You’d be surprised by how many can’t get it right or don’t have facing pages at all. Facing pages, multiple view options, a choice of reading direction, an image loupe (think magnefying glass), and zoom are the most important features and they all work flawlessly. You can navigate by clicking, using the arrow keys, or scrubbing on the status bar. There are more navigation options, such as jump to page etc. which you can access through the ‘Go’ menu. You can also show or hide the status bar and the toolbar and you can chose the color of the backround in full page mode by going into your preferences. To top it all off they gave almost every single menu option an easy to use keyboard shortcut! The app does not support any multi-touch trackpad navigation, but that can be forgiven because of the great navigation options offered through the keyboard. This app includes all of the features necessary to make a reading a comic easy and enjoyable and cuts the fat that causes some other apps to load or run slowly. You won’t find animated page turns, digital bookshelves, or any other such nonsense here. My only criticism is that the description above does not list all of the features. I felt like I was buying it on faith. If I had known all of the features off the bad I wouldn’t have hesitated at all.
