Description

Available exclusively for Netflix members. They're squirmy and curious! Drag and drop living Goo Balls to build everything from bridges to giant tongues in this physics-based puzzle game. The millions of Goo Balls that live in the beautiful World of Goo are curious to explore — but they don't know that they're in a game, or that they're extremely delicious. Connect the Goo Balls to build a wide range of jiggly architecture, including: bridges, cannonballs, and zeppelins. This award-winning game, made entirely by two guys, has been praised for its "ingenious-level design" by IGN and named "Game of the Year" by TouchArcade and Metacritic. Be prepared to be charmed by the weird and wonderful World of Goo. Features: • Mysterious Levels: Each level is strange and dangerously beautiful, introducing new puzzles and areas — and the creatures that live in them. • A Diverse World of Goo Balls: Along the way, undiscovered new species of Goo Ball, each with unique abilities, come together to ooze through reluctant tales of discovery, love, surveillance, beauty, electric power, and the third dimension. • The Sign Painter: Someone is watching you. • Build the Tallest Tower in World of Goo Corporation's Mysterious Sandbox: World of Goo Corporation is contractually obligated to state that everyone is a winner and is enthusiastic to celebrate everyone's tower building opportunities equally. Updates for the Netflix edition: • Hi-Res Art for the Modern Age: The original art for this game was designed to look excellent on screens of years past; it's now updated to double the original resolution for a remastered gameplay experience. The Netflix edition also includes support for modern screen sizes. • Save Your Progress: Play on your phone or mobile device and track your advancement with cloud save. Each Netflix profile will track progress separately. I see a bunch of negative reviews here from people who played the original game. This game really holds it own amidst a sea of click bait ad-filled rubbish. If you’re someone who hasn’t played the original version of this game and are coming in with fresh eyes, you have nothing to worry about. Fantastic game, interesting and challenging puzzles. For the people who are complaining about needing a Netflix subscription to play, consider the other side for all the existing Netflix subscribers who get to play this and dozens of other titles for free. It’s not like you’re subscribing to Netflix just to play this game…

I’ll play the game when there’s an option to mute the game sounds. I listen to music and podcasts when playing games and I can’t with this one. Big sad

Why would I need a streaming account to play this game? Makes no sense.
  • Netflix sub requirement?? REALLY?!

Man, I just wanted to download this game again and re-experience this game, and I get to the app store... "Huh, that's weird! Why's there a lil netflix logo on the icon?" I try to open it up and play... IT REQUIRES A NETFLIX SUBSCRIPTION?! I would've rather PAYED for the GAME! Not for flipping NETFLIX! Bottom line, maybe you wouldn't have a 90% piracy rate if this wasn't how you dealt with your players.

Back in happier days in my life I would run upstairs after school and try to beat all the levels. Thanks for reminding me of the little things in life. I was able to re experience the fun with my husband as we scrambled to beat the game together
  • … but the music!

I absolutely LOVE this game, but I can’t play it and listen to a podcast or audiobook because there is no way to turn off the game’s music! It is very irritating. I like the Goo balls little giggles and pops and the ambient sounds of wind (etc.), but the circus music gets annoying after a little while and completely drowns out anything else you might want to listen to.

Why do I have to sign up to Netflix just to play a game that I had already owned previously. Major L
