As a year one white belt at a small town gym, with minimal time to train, I felt stuck in rut...and like others were passing me by. This resource helped me a ton. Practical techniques that were explained very well. I feel like I’m back where I should be. Will definitely watch more Roy Dean content.

This is a perfect resource for any BJJ student. It is a wonderful catalog of techniques to internalize. Roy has a deep understanding of the art and presents it in a way that is easily grasped. He shows more than just put hand here, move this there, but links things together in series. He always ties things to the greater view of the art, covering both the intricate and 1000 foot look at the technique. Well done. Of to buy the other titles now.

I just started BJJ three months ago and this app has helped my game proceed at a faster rate. Key small insights have made all the difference. The app focuses on the basics which is exactly what I needed. The video and audio are high quality and easy to follow. The instruction is first-rate and very insightful. It's well worth the money.

I am a white belt in BJJ. This is a great learning tool for those who want to eventually progress to a blue belt level. It's very detailed, and they show the moves from various angles. They break it all down into catagories too, like Mount Escapes, Side Mount Escapes, Sweeps, Chokes, Arm Locks, Leg Locks, Guard Passes, and More. I personally feel I got a lot for my money with this App.

  • Good but too expensive!

I found this to be very helpful way to approach jiu jitsu as a beginner. I like the way the major areas of study are broken down, however I would request the developer to break things down further into videos for each specific move under each category, its a little annoying to have to scroll through the videos to pickup where you left off. Good demonstration and explanations! Please update!

I gave this a 4 star review because of the price. Other than the price this app is excellent.

This is a great app that contains a few attacks and escapes from each position. A must have for someone in their first 2 years of BJJ.
