Description

Kill the monsters! Steal the treasure! Stab your buddy! Go down to the dungeon. Kick in the door. Kill everything you find. Backstab your friends. Steal the treasure and run. With millions of copies sold around the world, Munchkin is the mega-hit card game about dungeon adventure...with none of that stupid roleplaying stuff. You and your friends compete to kill monsters and grab magic items. Don the Horny Helmet and the Boots of Butt-Kicking. Wield the Staff of Napalm...or maybe the Chainsaw of Bloody Dismemberment. Start by slaughtering the Potted Plant and the Drooling Slime, and work your way up to the Plutonium Dragon! Shuffle Up an Adventure! You're a Munchkin...and Munchkins love treasure! But a stack of pesky monster and Curse cards are between you and your hard-earned loot! Munchkin is played in a series of rounds using Door cards and Treasure cards to explore a dungeon. Build a character by combining Race and Class cards, then gear up to face the lurking monsters! Kill monsters and collect Treasure to level up! The first Munchkin to reach Level 10 wins! But wait...there's more! Cross-platform, online multiplayer shenanigans! Learn the tricks of the adventuring trade in a dungeon-delving tutorial! Sharpen your blade in Solo Challenges with special rules! Go looking for trouble in Munchkin. Hey, we're all going to get roasted and eaten sometime.

  • So much potential, but unusable

Tap targets are so small, this is impossible to play, even on my iPad Air. I can’t even make it through the first part of the tutorial. With more room to tap, this looks like it could be a 4 star rendition of Munchkin!

I’ve been eagerly anticipating this game for years. I love Munchkin and enjoy this version. Add more sets though.

The best thing about a card game on iPad is the ability to play on a tabletop with friends.. will this game have the ability to do offline pass-and-play? Could easily just have game announce next player turn before showing their cards.. similar to “Cat Lady” or “Roll for it” iPad games.. please add pass and play local offline multiplayer. Thanks!
  • Love it, but for a few bugs

Love the gameplay, but keep encountering bugs in the challenge levels where one opponent’s door will simply not kick in.
  • Please add controller support

I love this game but would give 5 stars to get controller support

I absolutely love Munchkin and have most of the expansion packs. It’s one of my favorite board games. This app is wonderful because it allows me to play on here when I don’t have time for a board game night. However, it is buggy and freezes up - in particular when the AI has to kick open the door after selling, or when you’re choosing which monster to run away from. Once they get more bugs worked out I’d love to change my 3 star rating.
  • Needs change of interface

Wished that they revamped the way to see and play cards as it’s impossible to read the text by using your finger to bring it up. Other than that really enjoyable game
  • Button layout

Put the run away button somewhere else, i tried to play important cards and it auto selected me to run away, completely turned me off the game

If you know, you know. And if you know Munchkin, don’t think twice. Buy it and Enjoy. It’s everything.
  • Only one complaint

It’s hard to read the text of a card when the preview is constantly disappearing. Never mind the cards that others play flashing on screen for a heartbeat before going to the discard pile. It would be better to have either the option to click/touch to open a card and a second touch to dismiss, or include a library of all cards available for players to read and familiarize themselves between games. Otherwise, the game is very accessible and fun just like the physical card game.
