Bare bones version of the base game, there have been 3 expansions for the physical game not counting the new Artisans Legacy game. I’ve had this app for several years and still can’t get through a single 5 play daily challenge without crashing and losing my progress. Dire Wolf Digital must be in Dire Straights in terms of development staff and/or know how. Why would I want to buy Root or Dune imperium digitally? I have zero confidence I their ability to maintain let alone improve this app! Uninstalled! It REALLY pains me to say this.

Love the game, I just wish the expansions were here. I actually played this before getting the physical version, and having the expansions adds so much to the game. It’s nice having a digital version, but I miss all of that content! Overall, it’s a great game nonetheless.

I’ve enjoyed this app for a long time, but lately it’s started having problems staying connected to the internet. That means it will kick me out of a game after I’ve sunk 10 min into it, and prevent me from making the leaderboard. Very frustrating.

Great game, lots of fun. The only problem is you get five shots at the daily challenge and it disconnects constantly messing up at least four of them. I have super fast internet with no other connection issues.

Very good implementation, but the disconnects during the daily challenge are very demoralizing. Other than that, I wish there was content that is available for the board game - 4 expansions and promos.

I did the tutorial and the local play mode and neither one lets me actually move the dice to the stained glass window. The tutorial even tells me to drag it, but it’s like they don’t recognize the action. Makes the game completely unusable.

I am going to be fair, not like this computer generated game or the software programmers. The game itself is well thought out. Many game options solo or against the “machine”, great ways to play with friends & family. Great graphics, just like playing the board game. My issues are with all the app’s crashes. It either stay stuck and you can’t move a dice and you have to quit. Or it just get stuck and the app closes on you. Other case scenario, the dice can’t be set on the board, you can’t move forward. But you can go to the settings, you can go to menu etc… but you can’t play a dice nor you can move forward a forgo the play. Do at the end you close the app. Oh I forgot to mention that all these issues happen during the daily challenge. You have 5 tries daily so you can imagine the frustration when it happens twice out of 5 tries. Other issue and source of frustration, it happened many times to me, other friends and family members(Yes we love the board game!!) when you decide to use one of your favor token involving to re-roll a die (dice) to be able to place it on your board. The die roll to a number that works and suddenly before it gave you the option to grab the die, it re-roll itself to of course the same number that you can’t use. Not only you just used 1 or 2 favor tokens for nothing but you also saw clearly that the computer is “cheating you”. Ok maybe just a bad programming, a bug, whatever it is, please fix it! I am not a sore looser. I just want to play to my best ability, and not being cheated of a good time, a good game. Of course you can guess that these issues always happen during the daily challenge and when you have a good game going because I play well. Before writing this email, I wrote numerous time directly to the company to report all the issues and I always received the same computer generated answer or the same cookie cutter that a tech support person have to send. As per their request, I sent many screen shots. And yet they reply again with the same email and nothing that really address your frustration, letting you know about any update version coming etc… It is rare that I take that much time to write a review to complain but I really love this game and I want to keep playing. I am fine to be frustrated with my game when I don’t pay attention, my strategy sucked or I don’t get the right dice, that is part of the fun. But when it is clearly from software issues and nothing is addressed… then I am very annoyed. The game is not free and it is really worth it when it works or at least when it will be working correctly. Please fix it.

I love this game, I have gifted a few times and gotten it for myself, so I was excited to find it has a app version Lately I’ve played and wondered how my friends have been playing with me so quickly, their moves are instant after mine. It wasn’t until yesterday when I was sitting next to my friend that we realized he wasn’t even playing and his side was responding and playing immediately after I chose my dice. When we compared our boards we would be in the same game, same boards we selected but none of the pieces we had chosen for our own were the same, and one of us would have a game where both of us would be many moves ahead of what he had on his phone, so we clearly aren’t actually playing with eachother like we should be 🫣

Update: Once upon a time the developers noted we’d see some of the expansions made available via IAP. To date, no updates have come to fruition in this regard. Hope to see more love given to this gem of a game. Original: For those who may be unfamiliar with the game, Sagrada a wonderful, somewhat light puzzler of a dice drafting game. I purchased a physical copy of the game the year it was released, and have since added on the 5-6 player expansion which provides more options. It’s a great “Saturday morning over coffee” game to play with my wife. How good is the digital implementation? Dire Wolf has done a really amazing job converting the game into digital form. The rules of the base game are fairly straight forward and seem to be well implemented here. For those new to the game, I would rate the app 4.5 stars out of 5. There are 3 levels of AI (easy, medium, and hard) for those looking for a quick solo game. I haven’t yet experimented with online play, so I don’t feel I have much to offer. The overall UI is fantastic. The more time I’ve spent with the app, the more I’ve grown to appreciate how well the developers designed the app to contain all the of the pertinent information at a glance. On my iPhone 11 Pro I’ve had no difficulties playing a game and quickly being able to identify the public and private objectives, tool cards, cost of the tool cards, and more. All in all, I would have to say that the design of Sagrada is in my top 3 board game apps, and I own a ton of them. For those (like me) who have more experience with Sagrada, there are a couple of missing features or rule changes that we will hopefully see added in the future. What’s missing? First, and I hope I’m not incorrect in this, it appears that ALL of the dice are included no matter the player count. The challenge with this is that any Private or Public objectives that are die-color related, you just don’t know for sure if every color will be drawn the same number of times. Having a setting that would provide the option to only have the number of dice needed for each player count so that each color is drafted an equal number of times is something the app desperately needs. Updated Note: Dire Wolf affirms this is how the app is coded. However, the rules provided in the 5-6th player expansion have been updated/amended. Per the expansion rules booklet, the “standard rules” (without the expansion add-ons) indicate there is to be an equal number of each dice color guaranteed to be drawn during a game. All in all, its not in any way a dealbreaker for the app (which is very well done). But as is, the current rule does leave a possibility of losing a game simply based on having poor draws. In a 2-player game, if player 1 has a private objective of blue and player 2 has a private objective of yellow, it’s possible there will be twice as many blue dice drawn, which makes it much easier for player 1 to win. But assuming Dire Wolf follows through and the expansion material does become available, this will no longer be a factor. Second, the Private Objectives need expanded upon. Perhaps we’ll see this as a future IAP, but the 5-6th player expansion adds some private objectives as well as new tools which really add to the beauty of the game. The current Private Objectives are simply a die-color, and it’s usually easy to discern what your opponent’s Private Objective is based on what color dice they’re going for. Outside of these minor quibbles, the app does a really good job of modeling the base game. If Dire Wolf adds in the aforementioned changes in future updates, this “really good” app will truly be “great.”

Love this game sooo much! It’s stunning, very calming, very fun strategy game. The only thing I noticed, at the end of the game during scoring, it only ever adds the first three objectives, and never adds the fourth, always saying I’m losing - but I’m not (some of the time) perhaps there’s a rule I missed, but I saw someone else mention this in their review. Would love for that to get fixed!
