I don’t think 2.5 * is accurate anymore. At first (~3y ago) I couldn’t figure out how to use the app w the drone. However, I just pulled it out again and have been flying it lately with exceptional results! There may have been a problem before or else I wasn’t following the directions properly or certain steps, but I have been able to get this thing working, flying, and taking pictures. I cannot figure out how to switch to the bottom camera though? And the top camera must be manually adjusted prior to takeoff (or when it’s in reach). I got a second battery and they recharge up fairly fast.

Trying to get this drone paired was a terrible thing. The drone in and of itself maybe a good one but trying to get it paired and calibrated took some time and yet it worked for one day and the next day it was back to the same old thing. This is one of the worst purchases I have done in quite awhile. Wish my husband had tried it when I first bought. Definitely would have sent it back for a full refund.

Turned on drone. Turned on remote. Went to Wi-Fi in settings on my phone and turned on Wi-Fi. After about 30 seconds the wi‑fi recognized the four DRC signal. Unsecured network. After compass, horizontal and vertical calibrations, it kicked in to a live shot. on my iphone. Went to the three bars next to the record button, chose video. Clicked the record button like you were making a normal video and it gave me a live stream and an awesome recording. Was able to download to my photos from my phone on my MacBook Air

I have yet to hear to be expected from who designed app and drone made from real companies scrap parts ! Parts from 3 different drones I’ve figured out go figure ! The app will not work with the drone at all it links to my phone great and the controller perfectly but the app doesn’t want to connect to this junk !! So ya you get what you pay for and junk is for free ! I’ll just keep ooking for a better app

Flying the drone with the handheld controller is fine, the pictures it shows when I downloaded the app is not the same as when I downloaded the app to control the drone. Wondering when the next update will be?

The app stops responding and the drone flies super high and out of control. Just use the remote controller if you don’t want to commit a federal crime. Also controls make no sense. Take off button turns into landing button, peak laziness by the developers just add a separate button to save the birds. (Sent by a user who almost knocked out a bird)

My new 4drc f9 cannot connect to the 4drc pro app... Just once I was able to connect it through its wifi, and after that I could never connect for the second time. This is very weak app, with lits of bugs, and Cameras have no quality.

Getting my 4DRC F-3 in two days. It will be my first drone. I see that bug fixes were updated on 4/22/22. I’ll keep in mind to check or updates regularly!
