Description

The Epic Authenticator app provides two-factor authentication for your Epic electronic health record system. Two-factor authentication makes your Epic credentials more secure by requiring another step to verify that it's you when you log in. Periodically when logging into Epic you'll receive a notification on your phone. Tap the notification to indicate that it's you and finish logging in. In case you miss the notification, you can also log in by typing in a temporary passcode displayed in the Epic Authenticator app. Your organization must set up Epic two-factor authentication before you can use the app, and you'll need to enroll your Epic Authenticator device in Epic. To get started, refer to the directions provided by your organization, or contact your organization's help desk.

With this latest update the accept decline buttons are missing. Made it so much easier to hit the buttons rather than cut and paste the six digit code. Please bring it back.

This app doesn’t work on iPhone 14 pro max. Not sure if it is iPhone latest software or app itself. Unable to use haiku on my cell.

This is a great app and yes it does help others from hacking any account. However, if you were to lose your phone or delete this app. You wouldn’t be able to recover your codes from your accounts at all. I wish this app were able to recover your account and codes that one has set up for their apps because certain accounts are linked with the app and if deleted or you lose your phone, THERES no way to recover codes. My example would be Facebook. I lost my phone wasn’t able to log in because it kept asking for the Authenticator code but I didn’t have my phone with me so I was stuck sending my info and contacting help from Facebook to recover my account. Luckily I was able to and deleted this app once and for all. It’s a risk having this app.

Good luck when you get a new phone. With how much money Epic makes off of scamming the health care system, you’d think they would have some people who could design an app that works flawlessly. EVERYTHING from my old phone switched over without a hitch. But getting Epic Authenticator and Haiku to work has required multiple phone calls, a service ticket, and waiting with no results. The app appears to be trying to send a code to my old phone (same phone number). Seems like coding 101 to me. Maybe there’s a bright high school kid that can figure out what Epic coders can’t?

Wow. God himself could not have created a better 2fa app. This thing is a miracle of an app, 999/10 hands down.
