  • Great Theme and Graphics But Unfair and Rigged

    As many reviews have stated, the graphics are wonderful, the story is a favorite, and I enjoy the candy theme. But I’m frustrated because the game will actively prevent you from winning levels. For example, I had seven turns left and only needed to collect three more boxes. But the game stopped providing boxes, making the level unwinnable. Additionally, boosters inexplicably disappear before you can use them. Or you need to collect certain colors in a level to gain boosters, but those colors are not available in the level. Another frustrating example is the rockets, which usually ignore high-value targets to hit useless or low-value ones, causing you to lose a level. For example, I may only need one or two more items to win a level, so I activate a bunch of rockets: they avoid the necessary items completely. I think the forced losing is an attempt to push you to spend money on in-game boosters. This annoyance is starting to overwhelm my original delight in the game. I ended up deleting my other Zynga game, Wizard of Oz Magic Match, for the same reason, not sure if I will do the same with this one. Update: the game is cheating more blatantly than ever. I rarely get the extra moves, etc. that I watch an ad for. The game is making it almost impossible to win levels; for example, I had lots of moves left, and only needed to collect more purple candies. The game then stopped providing purple candies until I had used most of my remaining turns. Worst of all, if you trigger a rocket, it will trigger all of your other boosters pointlessly , so you have none left to actually make the moves you need. What’s the point?

    Very glitchy.. Videos for rewards and extra moves are not working and then it freezes the game! Can’t get extra coins etc..

    I have been playing this for a long time, but lately when I choose to get 3 extra moves, the game just freezes up. Also, when Slotomania app ad comes on, it doesn’t go away and covers the bottom part of Wonka’s World, so can’t play the game. So annoying!

    I had this game several years ago and loved it. Then for some reason it stopped working. Even with a new phone it doesn’t work. I’ve tried to uninstall it and reinstall it, but it still won’t work. It tries check for updates and then stops completely and I am suddenly looking at my Home Screen.

    Anytime I try to play an ad for coins etc it either doesn’t play and locks up the game or it plays then locks up the game. It’s maddening and annoying to always have to restart the game. Please fix this!!!!

    I have been playing this game for a while and I’ve never had problems with it now it’s playing an ad that every time it plays it stops the game I have to turn off my phone restart my phone to play the game also the ads are popping up while I’m playing so I can no longer play the game and I have to do the stop and start all over again this is becoming quite frustrating aftermany hours of playing this game and enjoying it fully I hope you can fix it I don’t even know if you bothered to read the reviews but I hope you do and fix this problem

    Where to begin. It’s a great game. But the specials never really help. Half the time I have problems with the game connecting to the internet. And I watch a video for for extra moves and I don’t get those extra moves. It’s frustrating.

    This game used to be fun, but lately it’s been having problems. It freezes up and doesn’t do anything when I play a level. When I go into my settings to do a reset, it starts all over again from the level I just finished.

    so the first thing I love about this game is that it brings back nostalgic memories of watching the movie for the first time. The music, the characters in the game and the fact that we get to design our very own chocolate factory? That’s by far the best part!! The second thing is that each round is unique and super fun and after you’re done that’s when you get to design your own factory and I love it so much. I’ve been playing for a couple of years now and will never stop. I hope they don’t get rid of this off Apple Store!!
