Very solid basic inventory mangement program. Easy to use. Doesn't get overly complicated and is perfect for the simple home-user style of inventory most people need without getting into professional grade programs.
  • Too much work entering item - too many uneditable fields

Firstly, I recognize this is farily new software so there are kinks to be worked out. This review is about those kinks, as I see them after using the app for only few items. Secondly, this is the first inventory software I’ve ever tried. I thought I’d see what it was like before (probably) building my own forms in Evernote. - The UI is weird, and very un-Mac-like — example: Why does the pulldown in the upper left corner have such huge fonts? It seems to have been designed for mobile then crowbarred into a Mac app. - I find the app difficult to navigate — example: in the SPACE view, I’m unable to click on any of the spaces I’ve created in order to see the items within. It’s stuck on Bathroom. - More UI issues — in INVENTORY, when adding/editing an item, why is almost evertyhing in pulldown menus? Why can’t you start typing in a field and see auto-complete options? - Weird issue — in INVENTORY, when adding/editing, why can custom descriptions be added to some fields and not others? - More to the point, why is the WARRANTY field limited to only options for none, 1 week, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and 1 year? First of all, there’s no such thing as a 1-week warranty. Secondly, there are TONS of products with warranties longer than 1 year (has someone designing apps for Mac and iOS never heard of AppleCare?). The first item I tried to enter has a 3-year warranty, so I’m out of luck keeping track of that. And that’s as far as I got before not wanting to put any more time into this app. I’ll hang on to it and see what happens as it gets further along than 1.0.6. (I know software I’ve worked on was a hell of a lot better at 1.2, 1.3, etc. than it was at 1.0.6!) Good luck, developer. PS: I just looked at the other apps from this developer. This is the only one that’s so un-Mac. Hopefully upcoming versions will be designed for Mac instead of ported from a mobile version.

After their most recent update (10.0.6) the app is now fully printing and exporting reports to PDF. They are aware of a few other bugs/fixes but this app has great potential! Can't wait to see what future updates they have!

I also have not received a response back from support after mulitiple emails. After entering 60+ inventory items with images, app does not launch. Reinstalled and same issue occurs.

Entered four items, only two showed up, even though the total count said 4. Many incorrect spellings. When you edit names, they do not show up in the cross referencing. The only categories are the few they’ve defined. Have your own? Too bad. After a certain number of records they say you have to upgrade. Well, that’s fair. So how do you upgrade? That information is nowhere to be found. But at this point I wouldn’t pay for it anyway.
  • BEWARE!!- Does Not Work Properly

I have not gotten responses on multiple emails about major flaws in this app. I need to be able to run reports, b/c what’s the point of an inventory system you can run reports on… so, based on the functionality of the free version, I spent the money to buy the pro version which you need to do reports. I took a day and entered over 100 inventory items into the app and went to run a report to give to my accountant. The reports do not format correctly and are totally useless. It either tries to cram your entire inventory onto a single sheet as a graphic when you try to export as a pdf, or, if you try to print directly from the app, It only gives you the first page of your inventory, then however many blank pages your inventory would take after that. This is a total waste of money and time… I hope the developers fix this major flaw….

Well, It is a nice start. Looks really clean and has lots of features. There are a few that do not work proprly or at all. I have not gotten a response from support yet but I am still hopeful. This app is definately NOT worth $19.99 at this point. It may be in the future. I spent the money because it does have potential and I like to support folks that do try...
