Simplefax

Very basic app tha works fine. But would like the confirmation email they send to include the file name.

This is fantastic and so simple to use when I need to shoot out a quick fax but am on the go!

Just a heads up. Pretty cool little service to shoot off one fax file with multiple pages. (They allow 20 faxes per month). I needed to send a fax with multiple files drag-n-drop but it does not. Now ya know. :)

The last thing I want to do is buy a fax machine, or some bulky multi-combo-printer thing to send faxes, second to last thing I want to do is drive somewhere to fax. Actually, I don't even want to fax at all. But 2024 years after the death of JC some entities still require it. So thanks to Simplefax I can reliably, conveniently and quickly do so with my laptop from the comfort of home. There isn't a ton of bells and whistles or options but for my use case it's perfect and I've never had it glitch or stop functioning.

This App works great... no glitches clients get their faxes just like they are suppesed to. Have used other apps they all are nowhere near this one.

I rarely go out of my way to rate apps, let alone leave a written review. That said, I truly feel compelled to take the time to tell everybody who is in need of a decent fax app for macOS, YOUR SEARCH IS OVER WITH SIMPLEFAX! Absolutely worth the one time, flat charge of 10 bucks. I have probably tried more fax apps than anybody out there, and in my experience they all look the same and have the same confusing and clunky features. And they come at a price...a MONTHLY OR SOMETIMES YEARLY SUBSCRIPTION FEE! With Simplefax though, I immediately felt like the flat price of $9.99 was an amazing price given the simplicity of the process as a whole. I fell IN LOVE with the concise UI immediately. It is perhaps the most minimalistic application out there that JUST WORKS. Other apps require you to register a number to use for faxing aend/or limit the number of pages that can be in your PDF file. Not with Simplefax! All I gotta do is drag my PDF file and drop it into the open Simplefax window. To finish, I just enter my email address and the fax number of the recipient. THAT'S TWO STEPS TO FOLLOW TO SEND A FAX! After sending the fax, Simplefax (thankfully) sends you an email as well to confirm your fax was successfully delivered which is a huge selling point for me; I always want/need to know that the recipient(s) received an incoming fax in its entirety. ALL IN ALL? THIS IS NOW MY SOLE METHOD FOR SENDING FAXES! P.S. I do not fax that often. I do it at least once a month, though. You are limited to 20 transmissions per month with Simplefax, which is plenty for me. Keep in mind, that is 20 TRANSMISSIONS in total, and your PDF file can of course be multiple pages but only 1 will be deducted from your 20 limit.

This is the Fax app you need. Period. Fast, Useful and Powerful. Oh! and it's barely invisible. So, go get it!

There isn't any comparison with paid or unpaid versions.

I have downloaded five different Apps. Two I could not get to work, maybe it really was just me. But the numbers for the faxes I needed to send would not go thru. Two others had redicuolously high monthly/annual subscription fees. Darn subscriptions..... Spending the $10 for the ability to send an OCCAISIONAL Fax is a godsend and TOTALLY worth the money. No more finding a UPS store, or trying to find a work-around. Mahalo Simplefax!

Suddenly needed to fax after all these years, to handle medical records and bills. This is SO easy to use. Have had it for several months now, and am extremely happy. Just drag and drop a PDF document, and you get a rapid email confirmation that it was sent. (Other faxing options were complicated or required expensive subscriptions.) Thank you!
