  • Not very intuitive

    This game was a little disappointing after Sirens of the Deep 2 which had many more hidden object games and was much more intuitive so more fun to play. I find myself continually needing hints here which I rarely did in Sirens of the Deep 2. So it's a bit more frustrating too.

  • Fun but weird mouth graphics, annoying popups

    Refreshing no guesswork/all logic minigames. Nice graphics except for weird mouth graphic. Annoying popups interrupt the flow of the game at times. Just right level of difficulty--requires reasonable amount of thought but not so hard that it gets frustrating. Interesting story. Hints helpful without giving everything away.

    I loved this game but when I went to play through it a second time, it glitched and wouldn’t let me undo the lock in the first scene and wouldn’t let me get the last piece of the binoculars. This prevented me from going through the game again so I deleted it and downloaded it again. I was met with the same problem. Is there anyway to get rid of this glitch? Thanks.

    Bugs have *not* been destroyed! And apparently there is no way to re-download game to try to fix the problems. Can't do anything but wander aimlessly through the Grim Legend streets. Have deleted the game. I'm not happy.

    One of the best HOPA games I’ve played. AM hit this one out of the box. I was captured from the get go and the game never let me loose. Even after the bonus game, I wanted more and more. Story is top drawer, graphics are so detailed, I thought I was in the game myself - almost!. I really enjoyed Grim Legends 1 & 2 but 3 - WOW - Artifex keeps outdoing themselves every time. The game is rather “dark” not fairy tale like the first two. It’s a game that hits moral values but not a boring story, nor do you get lost in what was happening. The plot is first class and told it well, not just through typical dialogue but by interactions of characters, the puzzles, hints by dropped notes and even the cut scenes. I was not left hanging wondering why this or that. The action kept me on edge with lots of surprises and OMGosh! The background is what I would call early Victorian with gothic overtones. The art is absolutely stunning. Many times, I caught myself staring at the scenery, just taking it all in. The only thing I could say could have been a tad better was to make some, not all of the puzzles and hidden objects a tad more difficult. Still it’s an Academy Award winner in my book and one that I’ll play again without hesitation.

    Apparently you DID NOT destroy all the major bugs in this game. The Hint button stopped working. Came out of the game, reloaded and it still doesn’t work.
