    This app says free but gives you four days of the program then wants 14.99 for you to go premium and get full 8 weeks. Dumb! Says free and should be free!

    I kept looking for a running buddy. Someone better than me at running so I could get motivated to be better. This app tells me when to run and when to walk. Easy enough to build on each day. It's fun. Almost like a game.

    Before this app I couldn’t convince myself to go for a run on a regular basis. I’d push too hard because I thought that was how I’d get fitter and improve. The regulation and progress that this app supports has been vital for my journey to a healthier, more active version of myself!!

    PROS: I really like the simplicity of the app; it REALLY helps keep me motivated. Running on my own, I never knew how to pace myself so I just felt like “I can’t be a runner” because I didn’t have something to measure my progress against. I’m currently using the free version of this app and I love that it segments off what to do so I KNOW I’m making progress! It genuinely makes me feel like I can be a runner. CONS: What annoys me is that there were times the push notifications to my Apple Watch didn’t come through so I was running longer than I was supposed to based on the program. When the app is running and my phone is locked, the apps voiceover coach telling me when to run and walk doesn’t play through my head phones - it only comes through when my phone is unlocked. Both of these issues made it very hard to me to find a groove during my run. I kept having to fidget with the phone, slow down or stop to check if I’m supposed to be running or not, and I just really wished the voice would play through so I didn’t have to constantly check my watch or phone. It really took away from the overall experience. OVERALL: I like this app, and I’ll play around with my lock screen time to see if that helps but I fell like I shouldn’t have to do that. I’m not sure if the paid version of this app is any better or has features that resolve this but the issues I’m having now make me not want to purchase the full version out of fear that I’ll then regret it because it has the same issues as the free one.
