  • Horrible connectivity issues. Texts and calls don’t work. Incoming and outgoing

Verizon is horrible at customer service. Just look at there BBB reviews. 1.13 out of 5 stars with 33000 complaints on just that website. But one talk is new level of awful. I was using one talk as a business line. Worst decision of my life. This app has cost me thousands of dollars in missed opportunities. The worst part is when you reach out to customer service for support they will lie to you. They will promise to move your ticket up and reach back out in 3-5 days. They never do. I’m not exaggerating when I say I called 8 times over a 7 week period and every time they promise to help resolve the issue and I never hear from them again. Save yourself the trouble and don’t use one talk or Verizon period.

I have it on my phone and my iPad. And sadly all of the contacts from one to the other do not sync so I just get phone numbers that show up in text messages or phone calls from one device to the other as the names only show up on the device that I originally keep them into very often. My clients have lots of problems getting through because I’ll answer and they can’t hear me or I can’t hear them and this will go on for two or three times then I called him from my standard phone number and there’s no problem.

The app does not work properly or often. Support is atrocious. They are not familiar with app and are of zero help
  • Voicemail issues

This app works well for the most part. The issue that I am constantly running into is voicemails not showing up right away. It will take several hours, if I’m lucky, or days for them to show up. It’s frustrating when clients say they have left a voicemail and they aren’t showing up in real time.
  • Voicemail Feature Broken

Our small business uses One Talk for our business needs and it is simply awful. Calls do not get forwarded always like they should, but that’s not the worst part. The voicemail feature has been busted for nearly 2 years. Sometimes it will work and I am able to listen to my voicemails, but the majority of the time it acts like I don’t have any voicemails when it JUST alerted me that I did. I ended up having 14 voicemails randomly show up one day because the app never alerted me there was a voicemail to be checked, and when I went to check them in the voicemail tab it says “no voicemails to display”. This has been an extensive, ongoing issue I sincerely wish you would fix. Answering missed calls and addressing voicemails as a small business is detrimental to our success.
  • Not good

I have been using the One Talk app for about 6+months. Have had mostly problems with it. It drops calls. It won’t let me pick up calls. It tells me there is no service when there clearly is. It notifies me of text messages, then when i open it the message is not there….shows up 3-5 minutes later. When i make a call either by dialing or using saved contacts, it gives message that unable to *#% try again later. I have visited my local verizon store several times complaining of these issues. They have tried various things, but even they can’t help. I had this phone replaced. Nothing is helping. I do not recommend One Talk. I use this phone mostly for business, it is NOT good for the many reasons i have listed.

I get calls on here and it drops almost 8/10 times. Ridiculous. Call through doesn’t work for some reason. Txt msg are delayed and when you open it thru notifications it doesn’t even appear in the app. It just doesn’t show up at all.
  • Don’t do it

Text messages disappear. Voicemails don’t show up for days. Picture messages will show and then completely disappear showing only a time stamp that something was sent and then completely blank. Verizon support has no idea why, I’ve spent hours re setting it while they reconnected me. Shut the phone off and then hoped it work with the same problems. Do not use them you will end up hating it!
  • Totally Unreliable and Glitchy App

This app works less than half the time. Other times it ranges from not notifying me of texts or voicemails, causing me to have to open and manually check throughout the day. Most often it sends me notifications every few minutes that I have a voicemail when I don’t. It’s maddening how bad this app is and it makes me look unprofessional to my clients. If you haven’t signed up for a second number with Verizon yet, DON’T!
