  • Historical inaccuracies … Slow story

It seems like there are some historical inaccuracies. This is supposed to be right around the stock, market crash and yet in the abandoned airstrip in chapter 12, One of the items were supposed to find is actually a stripperclip of 762X 39 AK-47 bullets which were not invented until at least the 30s… but it’s labeled a magazine clip. A magazine is a fully enclosed box in which the bullets would remain. is attached to the outside of the armament, and can be removed and replaced with a full one. A clip encloses the bullets like a mag, but is inserted, along with the bullets, all the way into the gun. When the last bullet is fired, the clip is ejected or falls free, and is discarded like a candy wrapper. A true clip fully surrounds the bullets, but does not enclose or protect them from dust and dirt like a magazine does… it usually has open sides. An M1 Garand uses a true clip. What we see in chapter 12 is a stripperclip. A stripperclip only attaches to the back of the bullet to help you put the bullets into a magazine really fast. It’s a convenience only. It’s usually just a small stick of metal, and it does not go into the gun. The main problem here, though, is that the bullets in chapter 12 are AK-47 Kalashnikov bullets, which would not have been INVENTED until about 20 years after the events of Pearl’s Peril. ••••• another inaccuracy is about Marina’s hotel room. She had a Mosin-Nagant bolt action rifle hanging on top of the Hotel room wall, above her bed, but was called a shotgun by the game. it is not a shotgun, it’s a rifle designed by the imperial Russian military in 1891.It’s not a shotgun, which would shoot shotshells full of little pellets, or large slugs. It’s a bolt action, manually operated rifle with a five round internal magazine, which cannot be removed It was the standard imperial Russian service rifle from around 1891 until around 1940.Because it has such a long service life, and continues to be used by militaries today, it is a very famous item. It was in during the time of events of pearls peril. it’s not a shotgun.I also noticed on the airstrip level another 1940s design. Everything else seems to be very historical so I’m just surprised by these omissions and oversights. •••••Finally, I feel like the story has almost gone stagnant for me. After we failed to catch Leon the first time, it seems like the story has taken a massive detour and it’s almost going to slow. I would like to have more energy or have it refill faster so I can just get on with it. Because it takes a lot of work to painstakingly play every level enough times to catch all three special items. I don’t really like the decorations for the island because first of all the island is very cramped and second of all the decorations are just too expensive. Let’s be realistic the ones that I can’t afford or some weird pagan altar, or temple or some idol statue or some sort of creepy thing when I would just prefer a gazebo and a rosebush. No thanks.
