Parrot Pot is a connected pot that helps you keep your plants healthy. It incorporates an intelligent watering system and four sensors that continuously analyse your plant's needs. With the Parrot Flower Power application, you can monitor your plants' development every day. Additionally, you can access a vast database packed with information on your plant's maintenance and characteristics. A free dedicated Application* Download the Parrot Flower Power Application on your smartphone/tablet to enjoy comprehensive monitoring of your plant's health: light, temperature, level of fertilizer and soil moisture. Enabling notifications allows you to receive a real-time alert in the three following cases: - low water tank level (only for Parrot Pot), - low soil moisture content - low battery level. Database with over 8,000 plants Over 8,000 varieties are listed in the Parrot database. In the application, you will find expert advice written by top international botanists. This customized advice helps you optimise your plant's growth. You can also freely browse the database to discover new varieties and learn how to care for your plants with tips and trends on their maintenance (sunshine, fertilizer, watering, etc.). Suggestion The Parrot Flower Power application helps you choose a plant that will be perfectly suited to your environment. To do this, you simply geotag yourself and indicate the level of sunlight (shade, half shade, full sun). In addition, you can consult the list of plants suited to your environmental settings according to preset categories: - Indoor plants - Flowering plants - Orchids and original plants (Parrot Flower Power only) - Fruit and vegetables - Outdoor plants - Trees, shrubs and bonsai (Parrot Flower Power only) - Decorative leafy plants - Cacti and succulents - Wellness plants Real-time management When you are near your Parrot connected object (Pot or Flower Power), check, in real-time, the light intensity, ambient temperature, soil moisture and level of water in the Parrot Pot's tank. Instead of allowing people to download an app that just crashes, you might want to consider delisting the app.....

Parrot has discontinued support for the product and the app crashes on launch under iOS 12.

The app won’t open- you click the app and it just crashes. Sometimes it doesn’t connected to the pot.

I've had the flower power for 3 months, and it has lost it's connection numerous times, leaving big blank areas, not recording data. Tech support doesn't seem to know why. So because it's under warranty, they offered to send a replacement only after I mailed mine back. Let's see, I would have to repot my plant in a temporary pot, then repot it when I got the replacement . At that point my nice looking peace plant would have been repotted 3 times, and probably wouldn't survive. They wouldn't even entertain the idea of charging me for a new one, then giving me credit when I returned the faulty one, thus eliminating numerous repotting. Not a great company for such a pricey vase.

  • Not an iPad app.

Forced portrait orientation is a real nightmare on a tablet. "Parrot Flower Power for iPad" seems to be a straight up unaltered duplicate listing of the "Parrot Flower Power" app.

Returning this product today. App is full of bugs- will not display history if you select your plant from the (useless and incomplete) database. Same problems on iPad and iPhone. Embarrassingly useless.
  • Update the plant databases!!

Please update the plant database to increase the coverage of different flora along with the improvements of its accuracy. A lot of regular plants are not included, e.g. Orchid Cymbidum goeringii. And the plant needs should be more accurate to include half star into the descriptions. It sounds not right to say rose has the same needs regards watering as camellia.
  • Works decently well, but name of app is 2.2.3

Works decently well, but name of app is 2.2.3 Developers, it looks like the name of the app as downloaded shows up as a version number. Rather than saying "Flower Power," it says 2.2.3 under the app. I think this also prohibits spotlight from finding it search as "flower power."

I have four Flower Powers that I monitor with my iPad Air. I love the information the app displays - water level, fertilizer level, etc. However, as soon as I set up each unit it immediately told me a new firmware update was available. No problem, as it only took a few minutes to update each unit from version hawaii-1.0.0 to hawaii-1.0.3. Then, about a week later, the app displayed the same message, saying another firmware upgrade is available. I noticed the app was displaying my firmware version as hawaii-1.0.0, despite my having updated it successfully to hawaii-1.0.3. So, I again upgraded each of my four units. I now see the same message, and the app is displaying the old firmware version. I suspect the app has a bug, as if I’ve already updated the firmware successfully, I doubt if each of my four Flower Power unites could suddenly revert back to a previous version. Parrot needs to provide better customer service. I was cut off three times, once in the middle of a conversation. I finally gave up and won’t waste my time calling them. Also, as of 9/16/15, after updating to iOS 9 it bombs out. Sorry guys, it need an immediate fix.
