it seems the company doesn’t give a whit about the functionality of their products. I am looking at past reviews that are nine months old and I just bought the anemometer and the barometer and they both have the same problem. Niether one works without stopping it then restarting it and then thats where they stay……NO REAL TIME INFO.

Not sure how to set marker to follow how the pressure changes. iPhone app offers a great deal of features missing here. No trends graph nothing more than a pressure reading. Sorry I bought thhis app.
  • Does not update unless you quit then open it

Without any updating while the utility is open this becomes a relatively handicapped utility. There is a pointer that moves to the last pressure recorded when the utility was opened and thst's it. The current pressure is presented and the pointer goes to the last recorded pressure. The two pointers are hard to determine which is which if they are close together. Nothing changes while the utility is open. A novelty if free. Not worth 99¢.
  • Great but No Marker

Pro: Simple and elegant presentation Easy to read Choice of 3 metrics ( l prefer inches, which is included) Con: Requires Wifi even though an ethernet connection exists, not very practical. There is no marker needle to track previous reading and deviation from that reading which makes this barometer just about useless, thus the one star. You need to know whether the pressure has risen or dropped since last reading, the whole point of a barometer, since pressure reading is all relative for sensing change and trend. Feedback: Add moveable tracking needle and this would be a great app, allow for ethernet connection for location services and you have one fantastic app Until then, I do not recommend except for those who always have WiFi and see no need to know whether the barometer has risen or dropped since last reading.
