Winmail.dat Reader

I purchased this downloaded software to be able to open and read some files sent to me for review. Not only could I NOT open the files to read them, but the software kept demanding that I spend another $7.99 or more to be able to do so. Had I known that it would not work without further $$ spent, I never would have bought the thing in the first place. I ended up deleting this app and finding one on the App Store for free that did the trick. I am new to the .dat file scenario, so maybe others who have more experience will have better luck, but my advice is to steer clear of this program unless you want to spend $$.

I just downloaded this app and it worked just as promised!!! I was able to see all of the files that were hidden in the winmail.dat! These were important documents. Thanks a lot!!

Very simple. Just double click on the windmilI.dat file and it opens correctly. No more needs to be said.

Works very well. and it's extremely easy to use on my Mac. I don’t worry about received windmiIl.dat files that send from outlook any more.

I have a couple of contacts whose attachments appear as winmaiI.dat files every time they try to send a photo. They're technically challenged so it’s no use asking them to do it differently... I tried a couple of other email viewers and all they did was display garbage. This one does the job!
