  • Good app, poor formatting

    The Remote Vehicle Functions tab that slides up from the bottom of the screen is not properly formatted to fit the screen size of my iPhone 15 Pro Max. The right edge of the controls are cut off. After a fix of this issue, I’d change my review to 5 stars.

    I would’ve gave five stars, but due to the fact, the engine does not start when I push start on my phone. That’s why I’m withholding that extra Star.

  • Can’t even login or register car

    This app is really frustrating. I’ve spent the past 30min just trying to get my password reset and login. It kept giving time out errors or saying it can’t login right now. Tried using WiFi, cellular, and two different phones. FINALLY got past the login and to the scan VIN which is now not working. It won’t let me type manually and when I do scan, it keeps popping up with suggestions for best scanning but just seems stuck on the loading screen. Eventually it then kicks me out and makes me login again.

    It’s ridiculous how this app doesn't work. I have a 2018 Honda Accord sport. And I’ve been trying to connect my app from my phone to the Honda link in my car and it doesn’t work. I’ve called in car customer service several times, and to no avail. They gave me a case number and when I call and enter the case number it sends me straight to voicemail. It’s pretty frustrating how ongoing this issue is and when I call to try to get some help I get no answer.

    Since I updated this HondaLink app I’ve not been able pair the car to my phone or make it work. Can’t check or change charging time. Terrible!

  • Hard to use

    I purchased 2019 Honda Clarity second car, I installed the APP, but no matter what, the APP won’t show any of my car’s basic data information, even I ask their customer service to help, even I reinstalled and uninstalled it several times, still can’t get it. The customer service is useless. Eventually I give up.

    This app does not work at all in Puerto Rico. Puerto Rico is not even in the drop down for service dealers. What a shame!

  • Can’t accept terms

    Paid for the app in Nov 2023, worked mostly fine (occasionally says it can’t connect to car). Recently got an update to the app which updated the terms. Every time I click “accept” on the terms it just takes me back to the terms. Can never accept. Can’t use the app anymore. Year payment wasted. Going to ask Apple for a refund. Fix your junk, Honda.

    App does not properly present fuel economy - range does not change based on tank fullness. Does not provide current state data, only the last time it checked in with the server. If they can’t get these right, what else is wrong? The only use I can see for this app (unless I get a subscription to remote start/stop and find my car) is making appointments to service the car, and I can do that with my phone.
