Blackbox for Vision

Truly a great game, so much fun and so well made!

Bring back the “pop “sound when I pop the bubbles. Beautiful game with an incredible amount of potential. this is probably my favorite part of my Apple Vision Pro so far. I really hope future games are not as similar to one another, though.

I have only experienced this feeling of nirvana after a game a few times. This game’s attention to detail with the way objects behave, the way the sounds make everything *feel*, the *redacted* after completing all the levels gives me eerie goosebumps no matter how many times I open the app. With the latest update with the new levels, it gives me so much hope and excitement for new levels in the way that only the OG Blackbox gave me when new levels would drop. The way that the dev finds all the little features of the platform and make you think in creative ways to solve puzzles….. it feels like one of the purest forms of human curiosity I’ve experienced on a digital platform. Dev… thank you for sharing this with us 🙏 Context: I am a diehard iOS Blackbox player. I have gotten many people to download and play and get addicted to the OG Blackbox so I may be just a bit biased. But trust when I say this game truly is sick.

Does not work at all - after the title card and tips, just dies. Tried reinstalling - same thing.

This is easily the most creative game on Vision Pro. The puzzles can be simple or challenging, but all of them are very fun and visually satisfying and take full advantage of the unique capabilities of the device. This is the game to show friends that want to see a glimpse of the future, as this is an experience that simply can’t be replicated on previous gaming platforms. The only downside is there are a limited number of puzzles and I wish there were so many more. But it seems like the developer is committed to adding new puzzles through updates and the latest update did indeed add two great new additions, one of which i kept playing around with long after I solved the puzzle. 🦔

Blackbox was always one of my favorite games on the iPhone and I’m so happy that they’ve made a Vision Pro app. The puzzle so far are really creative and I really hope that they continue to add more. My only complaint is that there’s not a ton of puzzles at the moment (only seven as of today) so the price is a little bit steep, but for what you pay you get one of the highest quality Vision Pro experiences out there. This is a must buy. 🦔

I love how this game inspires a real sense of playful exploration. You just start playing with the blobs, trying new things until you work out how to solve it. It’s a lovely example of spatial gaming vs full-immersion VR gaming. It’s absolutely worth the price, and since buying it it’s already been upgraded with new puzzles.
