  • Very Informative, App could use Upgrade

Really love how informative every week is and it’s my go-to app with pregnancies. The app isn’t exactly the sleekest, they could use some developers to spruce things up a bit. There’s a couple of annoying bugs: if you accidentally added a baby twice you can’t just delete it. You have to mark it as a loss which is annoying. Otherwise the info and resources have been good.

I asked if ok RN -OB-GYN /OR, if I could use as I did this most of my career. Obviously many things I cannot use/ do which makes app better, but it is a great teaching tool for my grandchildren. Book “ A child is Born, always had. This is so much easier. I try to remember how many I helped, Thank You
  • For twin parents

This was pretty much the only pregnancy app I could find that would allow for twin pregnancy! It’s so nice having it fit my pregnancy instead of reading about a singleton pregnancy!

  • HUGE PRIVACY VIOLATORS

I signed up for the app during my first pregnancy in 2020. Unfortunately, I had a miscarriage. This company provided my information to SEVERAL solicitors. When the baby was supposed to be due, I received multiple “care packages” of baby item samples. This was disheartening to say the least. Be cautious providing this company with your personal information. I was NOT informed by due date, name, and home address would be shared. If I could provide negative stars, I would.

  • Inappropriate advertising

I’ve used this app during both of my pregnancies, but I’ve recently noticed a large number to advertisements for weight loss programs. One particular ad has a person with a pregnant shape and then suggested meals to correct this problem. Women do not need to see this type of ad ever, especially while pregnant. The app needs to take better care to screen advertisements
  • Gender does not equal sex

The developers of this app seems very confused about the difference between biological sex and gender. Fetuses have chromosomes that identify their sex, not societally constructed genders.
  • Best app for twins!!

Not the most visually stunning app, interface-wise, but very informative and so far THE ONLY app that functionally supports twin pregnancy. Despite the incredible increase in twin pregnancies over the last 30 years the market for products and info to support parents is extremely underserved. Thank you WebMD for your insights and inclusivity! I look forward to my weekly updates and seeing how the babies—and my body—are growing and changing.
  • Bad and Outdated Breastfeeding Information

This app is okay. I would not recommend it. I was most disappointed in the breastfeeding vs formula feeding given by Nivin Todd, MD. The breastfeeding information was okay however the formula information was outdated. For example, it says mothers who breastfeeding cannot have an alcoholic drink, which is completely false. Or it’s is convenient, suggesting that breastfeeding is not (formula is far more inconvenient). You let we can help at night, you partner can help and bond with an infant at night regardless of feeding method. It suggests that babies who are formula fed are easier because they don’t need to eat as often because formula isn’t digested as quickly as breastmilk (formula not being digested quickly and causing infants to sleep for longer stretches is related to all kinds of negative outcomes, one big one being SIDS). It says moms who breastfeed often have to avoid certain foods because it’s bad for the baby (this is true, however cases of this are few and far between). Breastfeeding information is updated almost weekly. This article cites a source from 2005, that’s 15 years ago!! Maybe some of this information was correct then however it definitely doesn’t hold true now. I hope every mother who uses this app or who plans to get pregnant or is already pregnant does their own individual research parentally and speaks to a breastfeeding peer counselor or IBCLC or someone who has breastfeeding experience if they have questions or concerns. I’m not saying that breastfeeding is right for every mother however it is best for every baby and I want you to know the facts before making any decisions!
