It can be used to request a URL using the following HTTP methods GET POST PUT DELETE HEAD PATCH COPY SEARCH OPTIONS Feature Set Includes: Simultaneous views of request, response and browser. Post raw data or file, text content or binary. Post params in either body or as part of URL. Post multipart form data with same ease as of normal post. Handle response equally well even if it is binary e.g. image, png. Play with headers, params and request body. Indented XML/JSON views for better readability. Save / Export requests. The app store said this app is compatible, but when I open it I get a message "You can’t use this version of the application “RestClient.app” with this version of macOS." And as the title suggests, the support website is a parked domain, so yay.

When reviewing this app, the App Store Compatibility checker listed "Works On this MacBook Air" with 10.14.5. But when I try to open the App, I get an error that it "Does not work with this version of MacOS. Waste of $4

Good tool, needed a decent OS X REST client in a pinch and this is doing a great job so far.
  • Needs tabs

I like this application a lot. My biggest frustration is that I cannot have multiple windows or tabs open at the same time. I need this frequently so I can take the results of one request and copy them into another request as parameters. Other than that it's great.
  • Fantastic, but hangs often

Try switching around menus after a request has completed and the application will hang for no apparent reason and takes a few //minutes// for it to gain functionality.
  • Update to my initial review - this is the best!

There has been an update since my initial review, and performance is now superb. All in all, I think this is the best of several HTTP clients on the App Store. It's easy to use in every respect, and I love that it allows you to save requests within the interface (I guess there off in a plist or something) rather than saving them as standalone files (that you're sure to lose track of). Another plus -- for me, at least -- is that authentication and other headers are saved as part of the request so that you don't have to re-enter them. This app saves me tons of time in testing RESTful services.
