Not sure what man was like “do you know what would improve this app? Requiring ten extra clicks to see the same amount of data on the Home Screen that you used to see with 0 clicks.”
  • Go back to the UI of ver 4.xx

The previous version 4.xx of the app had an excellent UI experience: intuitive, user-friendly, clear, and simple. However, this new version seems to have upgraded to a UI with very poor usability. Apart from the sleeker loading and data sync icons, everything else has become considerably worse. Each cell in the current design is extremely impractical, offering a poor experience in terms of screen size adaptation. I genuinely don't understand what the UI designers of this version were aiming for. I sincerely hope Garmin takes this issue seriously and reverts to the previous version. UI design should prioritize usability first and aesthetics second. Please don't sacrifice usability for the sake of aesthetics and trendiness.
  • Solid platform, questionable app after redesign

I've been using the Garmin Connect platform for a few years now and find it solid - stable, useful, dependable. I used to like the app, but now I hate it simply due to the redesign. I find it more difficult to have the information I want to see at glance available to me. Furthermore, it doesn't always display synced data without multiple syncs. I had to force a sync three times today in order for sleep and step data to show up (yet my workout data was there on the first sync). This is not the first time it has done this. Unfortunately, this redesign was also applied to the web app, so no escaping it there. Very frustrated that usability of this app is now so low.
  • Design!?!?

I used to be able to easily see all my key health stats but now I have to scroll. Not only that but now when I try to edit the Home Screen to see different stats, that used to be standard, I input data I never meant to. There was no reason to do this.
  • Loved it until recent UI update

Terrible design. Less info and takes more space. What’s amazing is Garmin won’t take any of this feedback because they’ll write it off as a portion of people who hate any change, which isn’t true. It’s just that it’s trendy now to take lots of data and dumb it down for the masses in a fun graphic form.
  • New Software Update

I bought the Garmin system 3 years ago. I really found Garmin to be really useful tool to monitor my health. Great access to my heart rate, time asleep, steps, active calories burned, etc. Now that I downloaded the latest “update “ , I now get to scroll through multiple pages to get the same information that I used to get at a glance on 1 screen. Please give us the option of going back to the original software instead of using the new jacked up system.
  • Disappointing update

The recent update of the mobile app is a mistake. The prior compact views of data were easy to locate and read without swiping in subsections, and with efficient use of screen space. Please revert to something closer to the pre-April 2024 version, or make it an option for users.
  • Too many things broken in April update

I wrote to you through your help page - you claim I can show 8 stats on my home page in at-a-glance, but it has no way to add more than 2. The weight box never shows my weight. There’s no add-data button on the home page - I shouldn’t have to navigated gate through several levels to do that. And some stat boxes won’t update unless I restart my app. Poor bug-testing before you threw it at end-users. I don’t see a single “better” thing about the new format.
  • Terrible new interface

Why do developers do this? The precious app interface was great. The new one is awful. I get half the information on one screen that I used to have. Activities don’t show all the details they used to show without having to click into them. REVERT BACK TO THE OLD INTERFACE.
  • Old app stayed synced - new version does not

For 3 years I’ve never had a problem with my Vivoactive 4 staying synced with the current weather - I just left the app running in background and it stayed synced. Now with the “new” version of the app I’ve followed the same practice but now weather does not stay updated and I have to actually go in and sync in the app manually. Complete bust of an upgrade. 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼
