Was a fun magazine but they went dark in 2021, then published only 3 issues in 2022. Had the audacity to charge a renewal in April 2023 but have not published for 9 months.

I purchased a two year subscription last summer but somehow the website and app "reset" every few months maling my account disappear. This means I can't read online, can't download with the ios app, etc. Every time this happens I have to contact support through email and they have done some "magic" to fix the issue quickly. Not this time, crickets for a week... I'm starting to wonder if the magazine went bankrupt?

I bought a lifetime subscription 40 years ago and I still love it and learn something new every now and then.

Paid for a year digital subscription in January. It’s mid-May. So I paid $20 for a single issue that I could have paid $5 for at the newsstand. Don’t make the same mistake I did.

T&L Publications got Servo Magazine right. It's in the Newstand where it belongs. However, Nuts & Volts Magazine does not load into the Newsstand like it should. So it winds up mixed up with the rest of your apps. Let's get that straightened out. 26 May 2013 Despite writing to the publishers regarding the fact that N&V is not in the Newstand where it belongs and getting a stupid reply back blaming Apple as to why, the publishers still have not gotten this straightened out with the current version of the magazine. Still no landscape capability either.

You can't zoom in very well, It doesn't take full advantage of the iPhone 5's screen, no landscape, not newsstand compatible, and in app downloads are slow. plus you don't get the magazine! Instead buy the magazine and read the digital copy in your reader.

The magazine is great. The app is the worst ever. Each month I get a notification on my iPad that the digital edition is ready, and each month the app asks me to pay for the issue or a subscription. I cannot even sign in as the app never seems to complete its connection. Nuts and Volts should find a competent digital provider.
  • Very slow

The app is nice to have, but needs a lot of work. It is very slow to load, lags when going to a different page.

Excellent combination of the look and feel of the magazine combined with readable text content that I can use on my mobile device. Now I have the print copy at home and a great usable mobile copy while away from home.
