This app is so easy to use and is fun at the same time. I love how it’s also free unlike other language learning apps that require you to make a subscription first. I learned Spanish in under 6 months! I love Duolingo and I HIGHLY recommend it to people trying to learn a new language. Thank you Duolingo!

I am totally impressed by how quickly I’m progressing in learning a new language. The app is great and one of my favorite things is how they strive to keep you engaged and on the road to your goals.

Was able to get a trial, but now that it is over the pop ups seem to make this app hard to enjoy. I would get the pop up free version if I could setup payment outside of the Apple ID system

  • Find enjoyable languages, not learn.

Duolingo is in my opinion a good app. If your looking to find a language that you might want to learn, go ahead. If you know a language that you want to learn and you are using this app, just quit while you’re ahead. The lessons on here are not enough to get you anywhere near fluent, but if you are looking to sharpen your skills on the side, then go at it. All in all a pretty good app.
  • Doesn’t care about learning

I’ve used Duolingo for years, so I’m speaking from experience when I say that they’re shoving advertisements down your throat because they want to make money. A lag has developed so that you have to spend more time on the app and you’re not learning. You’re watching the ridiculous graphics dance around. You’re learning useless sentences that compliment the mascot for the app. It’s really sad that an app that could help so many people it’s clearly prioritizing their own profit over their users.

Kinda just goes over the same stuff over and over. I only have the free version though. Maybe if you pay it’s better.
