Downloaded all sorts of timers to aid me with studying, but most of them required that I check to see how much time had elapsed or were simply complicated to use. This timer is simple and serves my purposes well. You set how long you want to work for and how long a break you want and the app will sound when it is time. Plus the animations are pretty cute (although my iPod is usually face down so they do not distract).

Simple app. Does exactly what I want it to do--remind me to take a 3-minute activity break after sitting and working for 60 minutes. I just wish there were options for the alert. The ringing is obnoxious but it does get my attention. Good thing I work from home because I can see the alarm really annoying
someone's co-workers.
