Canvas Student

This is good at a glance but it is missing some features that were necessary for one of my classes. We had peer review names and it wouldn’t show the assigned names, and there were issues submitting feedback directly to those peers after I found the names online. My professor thought I was an idiot until she learned I was using the mobile version to which she finally said, “the mobile is missing some features so it doesn’t work there.” Good to know now 🤦🏽‍♂️

I love this app but every time I get a notification, it gives me 5 of the same one! Many people I have talked to say they also experience this, getting multiple notifications for one thing and it is quite annoying and can be overwhelming at times. If this bug gets fixed then it’s a great app and one of the best platforms I’ve used for schooling!

The app is fine and efficient, its the website that I have to use at school and that I absolutely hate. Whenever I use the text entry to submit my work for school and I’m using a page that I opened yesterday, the system kicks you out. The system doesn’t NOTIFY you, or SAVE YOUR WORK, which by the way- is an expectation for any app no matter the use, so when I type an entire essay on my computer that I started the day before, and then submit it, it RELOADS, tells me to SIGN IN, and then DOESN’T SAVE MY WORK, so I have to TYPE IT ALL OVER AGAIN! I’m tired of this problem and I’m wondering when you’ll decide to come out of the rock your living under and keep your Technology up to date like the rest of the digital companies we have. Please take this into consideration and FIX this issue. Thanks for reading this.

The app often just spins when you try to access course content. It does not load the content. The availability of accessing course content on an iPad and iPhone is spotty at best. I have removed and reinstalled many times on both devices. Please fix this bug!

why do i get 5 notifications for ONE thing, genuinely annoying

Am I ever getting graded?

new update where top half of grades tab is horrendous. why would i need that information in my face if im checking an exam score? the previous version with total grade in the top right was perfect. trying to scroll to the bottom in order to check a grade is terrible with half the screen frozen on my total grade. remove this horrible feature or let us roll back to a previous version.

Please add “what if” grade viewing to mobile, and a section for a generic grade calculator would also be desirable but not necessary.
