Description

Like Majesty series? Check out Majesty: The Northern Expansion as well! "It’s a great strategy game. I’d recommend this to RTS and RPG lovers alike." - AppAdvice "One of the "5 winning games for tablets" - New York Times, July 2011 "Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim" is a vast magical world where you are honored with the crown of a tiny fairytale kingdom. When you become the head of the country all the responsibility for the land's prosperity rests on your royal shoulders. You will have to fight various enemies and monsters, explore new territories, manage economic and scientific developments and solve a heap of unusual and unexpected tasks. For example, what will you do when all the gold in the kingdom transforms into cookies? Or how will you bring back the trolls who robbed caravans and whose disappearance ruins the economy of the country? The core feature of "Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim" is that you cannot control your citizens directly. There are a lot of heroes in your lands: valiant warriors and warlike barbarians, powerful wizards and grim necromancers, industrious dwarves and skilful elves plus many more. But all of them live their own lives and decide for themselves what to do at any moment. You are able to issue orders but heroes will follow your commands only for a sizeable reward. "Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim" contains elements of role play: while fulfilling your orders, the heroes improve their skills and talents, as well as earn cash to be spent on new equipment, weapons, and magical elixirs. "Majesty: The Fantasy Kingdom Sim" – the throne is waiting for its hero! Game Features: - Legendary indirect control strategy totally adapted for iOS. - 10 types of heroes with dozens of statistics, weapons and armour. - A dozen types of monsters. - Several dozen spells. - 30 upgradeable building types. - 15 scenario missions+ a bonus one. - 3 difficulty levels. - About 100 game achievements. ______________________________________ ***** "...Richest real-time strategy game I’ve yet played on a phone or tablet, and also one of the more interesting games of this sort I have played on any system recently." – The New York Times ***** "It’s a great strategy game. I’d recommend this to RTS and RPG lovers alike." - AppAdvice.com ***** "That’s an amazing amount of responsiveness from an app. Again, I’m a huge fan." - The iPhone App Review ***** "I’m glad I finally had the chance to play in Majesty a lot, and I hope that it gets all the attention it so rightly deserves." - 148Apps ***** "If this had been a new title built specifically for iOS, I would have called it a stroke of genius. As it is, I’ll have to call it a pleasant serendipity" - TouchArcade ______________________________________ Keep track of HeroCraft game news and updates! twitter.com/Herocraft youtube.com/herocraft facebook.com/herocraft.games ______________________________________ "Majesty The Fantasy Kingdom Sim" is a trademark of Paradox Interactive. It has some of the main features, but it’s missing a lot of the immersion the original comes with. I still enjoy it, but it feels like I’m playing a cheap knock-off.

I love this game, however some of the levels are just unfair on bloodthirsty. I have a screen shot of day 8 of the eloped wife mission (on blood thirsty difficulty) where there are 37 elves attacking, on day 8!

The original PC game was great, but I enjoyed playing this even more on the iPad. It’s a great match for a touch interface. I would love to play Majesty 2 on the iPad even more!

I had a full set of hero’s maxed out buildings and 5k gold to spam spells on but when I got invaded by 6 DRAGONS I got wiped easily couldn’t kill more than one and most of my heroes were lvl 6 or higher so yeah no and everything up to that point had been an easy snore fest on pacifist idk how you could EVER survive an invasion of that many dragons on the highest difficulty I doubt anyone has beaten it on that difficulty honestly seriously balance your game other than that a fantastic game just balance it

Feels nothing like the original. I’m disappointed with the reviews that claimed it had the same feel. It doesn’t. Waste of $2
  • More Sexist than the Original

While some changes were made in porting to iOS, the cultural changes took a step backwards. One of the early levels is about feminist harpys that want to abolish polygamy — they are branded terrorists with which the kingdom will not negotiate therefore you must kill them all. This is an easily changed paragraph or two of text, but a storyline the developer chooses to keep nonetheless. In addition, others have mentioned the heros from the Temple of Krypta used to be priestesses and this has inexplicably changed to male necromancers. Of many hero classes, the only female hero class is now the Paladins with names like “pretty,” “stubborn,” or even “manhater.”

I played this game religiously as a kid so there are a lot of little details about it that I miss. I’m loving hearing the original music but I miss the intricate graphics and some of the minor characters like the gnomes. It’s also missing the beautiful intricate graphics of the first but perhaps that is something that will change in time. All in all, it is bringing back great memories. Thanks to the creators of this app.

I loved the original Majesty growing up, so the moment I started this, the music hit me right in the nostalgia. The buildings, the mechanics, it was all the same, with a few obviously necessary tweaks and some paywalls. Then, I noticed it. When I was a little girl, I loved that so many of the units were female. The Healers of Agrella, Priestesses of Crypta, the Paladins, the Solari... in this version? Healers and Priestesses (now Necromancers) are old men with white beards. Note that the game already has wizards that look like this. The Solari are gone (game reasons, I get it), and only the Paladins remain. And the campaign takes every possible opportunity to mock women. It starts with harpies and moves on to PMSing Paladins and runaway brides... about a quarter of the levels I played were about how awful women are... in a kingdom builder RTS! Who thought this would be a good idea? I put the game down in disgust. TL;DR- Sexist mess, Skip it.
