Description

Sometimes you need to count or tally things. This simple app increments or decrements a counter, automatically or manually, while saying the number aloud. It uses an algorithm to choose different variants of the number sounds, so it's somewhat better sounding than text-to-speech. It counts forward or backward automatically by any integral increment, and can count up to 999,999,999 if you're willing to wait 31 years or so. But it gets more interesting than that. Enumero counts in Latin, binary, hex and morse code. Enumero counts in grey code, picks random numbers and can trip off the first 10,000 digits of Pi (in hex and binary too). Enumero can recite the names of chemical elements. It can play the toy piano, sing a little Solfege and regale you with the very interesting Nerve Events. it can iterate through all possible orders of orders, and play them as a diatonic scale. It can also make up its own words out of bits of phonemes in three different ways. No other app can claim these features! And now Enumero also can be run in Audiobus and Inter App Audio, so you can use it as a random voice in musical compositions. Check out http://www.jhhl.net/iPhone/Enumero. Compatible with iPad, & iOS9-10 From the author of lots of other iOs apps like SrutiBox, Droneo, Ellipsynth, synthicity itself, Minute, Only A, Yes Session and AUMI.

Ok, this app makes me swoon! It's another winner by a developer who knows how to make unique, creative stuff that no one else does. If you are at all into sound design, music production, or creative play--buy this!

Stopped working after very few times we used it, maybe 10 or so. Got in touch with developer, told me to download again... Paid again to download cause kid liked it, again stopped working after very few times. Notice that the 5 star review is by a person with the same last name as the developer's, do not trust it. It is the only app i have ever experienced that is a complete junk.
  • Count on Strange!

"Sometimes you just want to count something, or count to some number or just count for no particular reason. Enumero counts out loud and expands on the idea of counting out loud until it doesn't resemble counting out loud very much at all. " This app may appear -on the surface- as a nice app to play hide-and-go seek (for the counting impaired)-but dig into the settings and count out loud by Elements, in Latin or in hex among many other strange objects! of counting including sampled noises- plus you can adjust the timing of the counting. Count by 31s to 10,000 in Morse Code. A brilliant concept. It's like having a Performance Audio Art installation in your pocket.
  • How weird are you?

Enumero is just weird. I mean that in the best way. I actively search out weird applications on here all the time, and Enumero certainly fits the bill, snuggling right on in there with the best of 'em. Now, instead of counting in different, oddball manners, you can substitute phonetic speech. Ramp up the interval between "counts," and suddenly you have a device that's speaking in tongues. Switch to Latin. Switch to binary. Swtich to hex. Or radio hex. Switch to toy piano. Lots of options to get your weird on. Or maybe you just want a counter. It'll do that, too. As for me, I'll stick to the transmissions from another planet. Turn on. Tune in. Tweak out.
