  • Many errors

I’m finding many errors: total grams from all foods logged does not match individual entries. Nutritional content after scanning barcode does not match food label. I’m losing confidence in this app! Which is a shame because the UI is great! And the food database is extensive.

I have been an OG with this app. I’ve had it since it came out in 2005 and have influenced others to get it. One thing that helped me track my macros was the barcode- now as a new feature it’s for the PRO account. So now it’s a hassle for me to search for the exact food product and hope it’s the right one.
  • PROBLEM

This app only works on Mac products. It does not work on my Samsung phone S23 or my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7. Makes it difficult to use only my iPad at times.
  • TRY VESYNC FREE BARCODE SCANNER

The only thing that set MFP from other competitors was the barcode scan, removing a free feature is a boneheaded decision- please try VESYNC it’s a free smart scale app that has the same exact features are MFP + FREE barcode scanner
  • Failing as a company

Simply another company who previously didn’t have any competition that is now failing to keep up. I hate that everything on the planet has to be locked behind a subscription. Even so, if you’re going to offer a subscription, then you better price it correctly. You better not lock features that keep your fan base around. This app has become just like the rest of them, except worse in some cases. Can’t wait to find an app that’s refreshing who actually cares about its user base. If you really cared about my health then you wouldn’t be asking for a hunk of my paycheck for some basic features.
  • Used to love and came back to a hot mess

When I was heavily into my fitness journey this app was amazing for keeping up with my workouts, recommending exercises and tracking my caloric intake. Now that I’m getting back into fitness I thought this app would be the perfect place to start. Boy was I wrong. I don’t know what has happened but this is not the app I came to love. I can’t even log my own meals because so many things are behind a paywall now. 10/10 do NOT recommend.

I’ve been using My Fitness Pal for years and it just keeps getting better. So user friendly with a deep library of food so tracking is accurate. Great blog articles too.

Using the fitness pal app and it’s guidance to maintain calorie intake and exercise I have managed to lose 80 pounds and then maintain that loss for four years. I lost my phone in the great Smoky Mountains and the biggest loss with this app until I could get another phone. Fortunately, when I got a new phone I could bring the app back up.

I’ve been using this app for several years and for the most part it meets my expectations. However the cost for the premium version is too expensive. I used it for a while but wished the ability to scan barcodes was available on the non-premium app.

This app has helped me so much. I log all my food, the food and the bad. Even if I overeat I still log and it holds me accountable. Makes your realize how many calories are in food. Lost 10lbs so far!
