  • Generally good but some functions no longer work

    By DaisyPeel
Recently I have lost the ability to take photos and import to recipes, and the scan function doesn’t work at all.
  • The Best and Most Useful app!

    By Loanthimy
I can scan barcodes, input recipes on website, plan meals, edit categories and share. For moms who want and need to have more time than figuring out menus, this is worth paying for. Have this for about 3 years now.
  • My Favorite App!

    By DebMrk
I love this app! The import and scan features have enabled me to get all of my favorite vegan recipes into the app, so meal planning and cooking is a breeze. No more searching cookbooks, Pinterest and the web for my recipes...they are all in one place.
  • Best App ever!

    By szeq
I use this app everyday it seems like! My daughter uses it now and she has told friends. She keeps showing me how to improve how I use it. I love the changes from December. I have a large selection of cookbooks and this helps me stay organized. Love it love it!!
  • Awful

There’s no reason for this terribly basic app to cost money. MFP does a better job of helping me meal plan
  • No automation

    By DevonRay
Nearly everything is manual. One of the only automated things is the default list of stores, none of which exist near me. I thought I could add any number of the various stores around me, but nothing is automated despite the description stating the app “supports multiple grocery stores” which I guess actually just means “you can type more than one line of text in this app!” I have to type the name of a store (no search), configure all of the aisles in the store, configure the prices of every item I might buy... I don’t get it. It feels like downloading Google Maps only to find out you have to enter all of the step-by-step directions yourself. I would have just casually gone our separate ways but I’m particularly upset that the developer charges a non-refundable $4 just to try this app. I could care less about the $4 honestly, but I highly recommend adding a free trial so others—who immediately realize that this doesn’t solve any substantive problems or pain points—are able to cancel without you pocketing their money. The bar is particularly high for pay-to-download apps, and this one doesn’t come close.
  • Love it

Really easy to use! I love that I can link websites to the recipe and planner. It makes it super simple to plan your meal and also the day you’re creating the meal, you have it all right here in one app and you don’t have to keep flipping through app and websites.
  • Just one idea...

    By Goddess of Mojo
Love this app. I really do. So much practical functionality, making mundane life tasks more fun and so much easier. Takes a little effort up front but it pays off! One idea for improvement (unless I haven’t found it yet...) and I would like to credit my husband for this great idea... wouldn’t it be awesome if once you move something from your shopping list and put it in your cart, that you could also then add it to your pantry?
