  • Quality in photos and videos

    By dctvhkkvvjf
The quality of videos and photos that you upload are awful and they are blurry and don’t have the proper coloration. I hope that Dropbox will fix this because these bad videos are now all I have since I already deleted them from my photos app. Please fix this!

  • No facial recognition, photo filtering, or folder color options

    By JayyTownn
The app works fine in terms of navigation and functionality. My issue is the security seems to be lagging behind other apps that allow easy sign-in/access with facial recognition instead of a custom app passcode. I don’t want to set a passcode for one specific app. I’d rather just scan my face (or fingerprint) instead, like how Google Drive does before I can access files. Passcodes can be forgotten or stolen, and biometrics is far more secure. Also there’s no way to filter photos by type (videos, gifs, and images). Some of the files in the Photos tab are videos but I can’t easily see just the videos because there’s no way to filter to only show videos or only show gifs or only show images. Lastly, it would be nice to be able to customize folders by assigning colors to them so that users could easily identify folders based on their assigned color instead of having to read the name of each folder.
  • Don’t purchase app through App Store!

Won’t get the new upgrade from Dropbox if subscribers purchase here.
  • I think the only thing this app does is ask you to pay for an upgrade…

    By Mr Jinglepants
Someone shared a file with me. I go to look in it just to be told to I need to upgrade. I free space up… still wants me to upgrade. I look at my available space and it’s way more than what’s in this file… still wants upgrade. It seems their model is to hold data hostage / annoy you to the point where you say “eff it” and just upgrade hoping you can get the data you need. I need to get in this file for an upcoming job and this is screwing me. Why on earth would I even considering paying $12 for this garbage app if you’re basic version is on the verge of costing me money? I sure wish developers had to go by recent ratings instead of overall ratings. Looking at the most recent reviews, it’d be 2 stars. They’ve clearly quit caring about the users and just want the fees.

Dropbox has been a great help for me; archives are essential for a ministerial and Bible teacher. Thank you.
